成龄桔蜜柿树不同年龄结果枝组生长和结果特性有较明显的差异。研究结果表明，２年生结果枝组新梢生长量最大，３年生和４年生结果枝组健壮的结果母枝数量多，新梢单叶面积大，叶片厚，栅状组织发达，叶绿素含量多，光合速率高，叶效值大，座果率高，５年生以上结果枝组各项指标均差。

A STUDY OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE FRUIT-PRODUCTIVE BRANCH COMPLEX, AT DIFFERENT AGES, OF JIEMI PERSIMMON

There is a certain difference in the performance of the growth-up fruit-productive branch complex, at different ages, of the Jiemi persimmon trees. The result of the study indicates that the number of the new shoots in the fruit-productive branch complex of two years old is the utmost. There are a great number of strong fruit branches in the three-year and four-year old fruit - productive branch complex , with large leaf area, thick blade, and developed palisade tissue, rich in chlorophyll, high in photosynthetic rate and effective in a single leaf, hence a great fruit setting percentage. But for the branch complex more than five years old, the above said items are lower.
