| Abstract: | Oriented strand board (OSB) is an environmentally friendly structural composite material that meets the criteria of sustainable development. This paper reviews some basic features and current situation of the product with an emphasis on the utilization of OSB in residential wood frame construction and other industries. Value-added specialty products of OSB, which were developed to expand the application of OSB, were discussed as well. |
