The effect of periodic warming of stored quail eggs on their hatchability

Abstract:1. By warming eggs in an incubator at 37–7 CC for 30 min their hatchability was maintained for 10 d as compared with 5 d in control eggs stored at 20 °C throughout.

2. The improvement in hatchability declined if the warming was carried out less often than every 3 d.
