Study on the Village Cultural Landscape: Conception, Constituents and Influence

The village cultural landscape is a new type and a very important part of cultural heritage.It reflects the mutual reaction between human beings and natural environment,including the special substantial use of land which is the basis of agricultural economy and also the landscape centered with the village.The village cultural landscape,once disseminated here and there all over the world,has been impacting by the industrialization and urbanization ever since the beginning of Industrial Revolution.And now,it is facing the threats of interruption of traditions and lost of characteristics in the waves of current globalization.This paper focuses on the conception,constituents and influence of the village cultural landscape and makes some initial discussions.
