Abstract: | Cattle grazing preferences on fescue pastures treated with the herbicide glyphosate at a rate of 2.52 kg/ha by surface application were determined, and the time course of the effect was characterized. An initial grazing preference for treated pasture was observed for the first 5 to 7 days. Over the next 15 days, this preference was lost because of decreasing amounts of herbicide on the herbage and/or desiccation of the herbage. |
