| Abstract: | 17 isolates of phytophthora spp.were isolated from the foot rot of cit-ruse trees in the defferent regions of Sichuan province.Buffer solubleprotein from mycelia of these isolates were fractionated by polyacrylamidedisc electrophoresis on many occasions.Distinct type of protein patternsof isolates were obtained.They were identified as Phytophthora parasitica,P.palmivora,P.melonis,P.citrophthora,P,nicotianae var.nicotianae,P.cactorum and P.melonis on the citruse trees at first.Under identicalcondition,each species of phytophthora generally gave a very similarcharacteristic protein pattern.So applying this method from protein an-alysis is recognized reliable to be able to play an effective supplementaryrole in the taxonomy of phytothora. |
