综述了我国竹材资源和加工利用的现状 ,指出我国竹材加工利用要重视“科学”和“创新”。各企业只有充分利用当地的地区优势和竹资源的特点 ,进行科学和合理的加工 ,开发出各种性能、价格比优于木材的适销对路的竹材产品 ,特别是有自主知识产权的创新产品 ,才能适应我国加入WTO以后的市场竞争。

Highlights on Science and Innovation in Processing and Utilization of Bamboo Timber in China

By the introduction of present situation of China's bamboo resources,processing and utilization,the author points out that China should attach importance to science and innovation in bamboo timber processing and utilization.Only all the company/factory make full use of geographical advantages and local bamboo resources characterstics to make a scientific and rational processing,and develop different bamboo products which are marketable and higher ratio of price to properties as compared to wood,especially those innovations with self-owned intellectual property rights,could they adapt themselves in the severe market comptition after Chins's entry of WTO.
