美人蕉(Canna.L)的辐射诱发突变

摘    要:本工作用60~(Co)γ射线及快中子处理美人蕉(Canna.L)休眠根茎,研究其辐射诱变规律,结果表明,γ射线处理的大花红美人蕉(Canna generalis Bai-ley)在VM_1代辐射效应十分明显,花色突变频率较高,其幅度在3.45—6%,适宜剂量为9.2—36.8Gy,不同基因型品种其辐射敏感性有明显差异。γ射线对美人蕉的诱变效果优于快中子,但连续几代重复照射的突变频率较低。应用γ射线处理大花红美人蕉共获得九个花色突变体,从中选育出三个花色各具特点的优良突变系,已繁育推广。

THE RADIATION INDUCED MUTATION OF CANNA(Canna, L.)
Abstract:The dormant rhizomes of canna ( Canna, L.) we're irradiated with 60Co γ-rays and fast neutrons, and the mutagenic effects have been studied during 1983-1985.The results showed that the radiation effects of VM1 generation in the treatment of γ-rays for "Crimson Canna" (Canna geneli Baii-ley) seemed significant and the mutation frequency of flower colour vari-tion was rather high, ranging from 3.45% to 6%. The opfimal dose ranged from 9.2 to 36.8 Gy.The sensitivities among various genetic types were very different.The mutagenic effects of the two kind mutagens have also been compared in this experiment.It was found that γ-rays were better than fast neutrons; the mutation frequency was low in the contineous retreat-ment for several generations.In the program, nine flower colour mutants have been selected in the γ-rays treatment of "Crimson Canna" . Among which 3 mutant lines with special folwer colour have been selected and are being propagated for commercial uses.
