Abstract: | The findings of research with laboratory and farm animals has demonstrated the safety of schungite natural mineral. It was determined that schungite is attributed to class four in the GOST State Standard 12.1.007.76 according to the classification of chemical compounds; it has no cumulative, allergenic, embryotoxic, or teratogenic effects on the skin and mucous membranes. In-vitro experiments and in-vivo studies have established that schungite possesses the pronounced properties that affect sorption of toxins; it is of no consequence and acute or chronic toxicosis. The possibility of its use to reduce the negative environmental impact on the animal organism has been shown. |
