关联理论及其在英语阅读教学中的应用

摘    要:关联理论将认知与语用研究结合在一起,将语用学研究的重点从话语的产生转移到对话语的理解上。语言交际是一个明示——推理的过程,是按一定的推理规律进行的认知活动。阅读虽不是直接的交际活动,但它是一种间接地交际活动,是作者与读者之间进行的一种书面的交际活动。将关联理论运用到阅读教学中,有利于培养学生跨文化的语言交际能力。

Abstract:Relevance theory combines the cognitive study with the pragmatic research,and shifts the focus of pragmatic research from the generating of the discourse to the understanding of the discourse.Language communication is a process of explicating and deducing and is a cognitive activity following certain deducing rules.Although reading is not a direct communicative activity,it is also a communicative activity between the writer and the reader in written form.Applying the relevance theory into the teaching of reading will be helpful for cultivating the language communicative ability of the students.
