| Abstract: | The coffee industry is a major characteristic agriculture in Baoshan City. Vigorously developing the coffee industry is an effective way to prosper the economy in mountainous areas and realize rural revitalization. This paper studied the development status of coffee industry in Baoshan City from the aspects of natural conditions, government policies, industrial system, market prospects, etc. The results found that the industry had a certain scale locally, had formed a characteristic industry and had a good domestic market prospect, but the industry was vulnerable to the fluctuation of international futures price, extensive planting end, insufficient supporting facilities at the processing end, immature promotion at the sales end and so on. Therefore, this paper put forward countermeasures such as standardized production, perfecting insurance mechanism, improving management and scientific and technological level, and strengthening brand marketing. |
