| Abstract: | This paper discussed the connotation of beauty, ecology, ecological beauty, ecological aesthetics and forest ecological beauty, as well as the application of ecological aesthetics in ancient Chinese ecological aesthetics, foreign ecological thoughts and ecological aesthetics, and ecological aesthetics empirical research. Taking Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang Province as an example, this paper studied the application of modern ecological aesthetics in forest management. Qiandao Lake vigorously recovered vegetation guided by forest ecology, and adjusted the forest structure with the goal of ecological aesthetics, changed from simply closing the mountain for afforestation and artificial afforestation to implementing broad-leaved transformation of coniferous forest, forest form transformation and forest ecological restoration, providing beneficial enlightenment for the current high-level protection and high-quality dark green development, which had become a forest management demonstration area based on the concept of ecological aesthetics. |
