| 摘 要： | 地理信息系统是一门应用性很强的综合性学科。自20世纪60年代以来,它在全球范围内得到了广泛的重视,无论在系统理论研究方法还是在应用系统等方面都有着飞速的发展。本文介绍了GIS的定义,分析了当前GIS的应用方向和发展状况,并从林业建设的各个方面简单论述了地理信息系统(GIS)在林业中的应用。

| Abstract: | Since 1960s,Geographic Information System（GIS）,a new comprehensive subject,has been widely taken full account of.Its basic system theory,research methods and applications has been rapidly developed.The definition and the application direction and development of GIS and the application of GIS on the aspects of forestry construction were expounded in the paper. |
