| Abstract: | The passive voice is frequently used in English. But there are a lot of differences between English passive voice and Chinese passive forms. This article deals with the analysis of the passive voice in English and discusses the ways to translate the passive sentences from English into Chinese. English passive voice can generally he put into both active and passive forms, and sentences for judgment and ones without subjects when translated into Chinese. In addition, even some active verbs in English have passive meanings. |
