The Farm Shelter-Forests Ecosystem Services Valuation in Huang Huai Hai Plain

This paper studies on ecosystem services for farm shelter-forests in Huang Huai Hai Plain in 2001 and 2005 based on a review of ecosystem services valuation summary at homeabroad and abroad.The ecosystem services evaluation methods were adopted and the farm shelter-forests ecosystem services in Huang Huai Hai Plain in 2001 and 2005 were classified into direct and indirect benefits.Direct benefits of ecosystem services included the income from timber;indirect ecosystem services of ecosystem services were the principal part of its environment protection function and consisted of protect functions,air purification,carbon fixation and oxygen production,soil conservation and biodiversity conservation.According to calculating,the results indicated that their ecosystem services increased 3.011 billion Yuan annually in average from 2001 to 2005.The results also showed that our country should set up a series of assessment index systems suitable for farm shelter-forests ecosystem services,by which their studies would move forward.
