Utilization of Urban Plant Fiber Wastes at Home and Abroad

With rapid economic development in the world the environment protection attracts more attention.Recovery and re－utilization of the natural resources not only save the limited resources, but also exert an far－reaching and positive influence on the environment.Urban plant fiber wastes mainly include waste wooden material and waste paper.These two kinds of wastes are called the "fourth forest" abroad.The research outline on the utilization of urban plant fiber wastes is discussed and the re－utilization, recycling and re－manufacture of urban plant fiber wastes, protection of natural re－sources and environment are emphasized in the paper.The disposal way of waste wooden material and waste paper and re－utilization in foreign cities are introduced and analyzed.On the basis of analysis of the research on urban plant fiber wastes and utilizatioo of the waste at home, authors put forward some new ideas and suggestions on integrated utilization, rational utilization, economic utilization, waste recovery and re－utilization.
