| Abstract: | The cultivating experiment for Russian seabuckthorn, a sun-like species, introduced from Xinjiang Forest Farm of Qiqihaer Protecting Forest Research Institute of Heilongjiang Province, has been done in Yichun forest region for five years.It has completely adapted to the conditions of the climate and soil in local area. It is growing well in height of the trees and the crown width. It can overwinter safely, bloom and bear fruits normally. The grain size of the fruit is big with a long stemlet. The high production and the same quality of the fruits as the introduced area have showed that the introduction was successful. |
