| Abstract: | Some physiologic indexes of Plant with different tillers were investigated.The results show that heavy-tillering plant possesses higher level of photosyntheticpigments and higher photosynthetic intensity, higher ability of uptake and assimi-latiou of nitrate, and higher level ATP in central leaves and roots than light-til-lering plant. Growing and developing tillers significantly promote the developmentof the mainstem and other parts of plant, including the other tillers. Besides,the percentage of earbearing tiller and the fructification characteristics is superiorto light-tillering plant. |
