Abstract: | Summary Three dominant genes A, B and C are involved in the resistance of Avena sterilis I. 376 to Heterodera avenae. When associated, genes A and B are responsible for the high level of resistance in I. 376. In the absence of the first two genes, gene C confers intermediate resistance characterized by the presence of a limited number of cysts on the roots. Only the completely recessive genotype allows the nematode to develop normally. |
