Abstract:The objective of the study was to evaluate the effects of bacteriophage preparation on production performance,immune index and fecal microorganism of sows. 96 healthy Landrace×Yorkshire sows were randomly divided into four groups with 24 sows in each group. The experimental period was 35 d. The sows in control group were fed the basal diet,and the test group 1, 2 and 3 were fed the basal diet supplemented with 100, 300, 500 g/t of coliphage, Salmonella phage,Escherichia coli phage and Clostridium percapsulens phage, respectively. The results showed that compared with the control group, litter born alive, weaned alive, average milk weight and average daily gain in test group 2 and group 3 were significantly increased(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the live litter number, average milk weight and average daily gain in test group 1 were significantly increased(P<0.05). On the day of delivery, compared with the control group,the IgA content in test group 3 was significantly increased(P<0.05). The IgM content and IgG in test group 2 and group 3 were significantly increased(P<0.05). On the weaning day, compared with the control group, IgA, IgM and IgG of the three dose groups were significantly increased(P<0.05). Compared with the blank control group, the number of lactic acid bacteria in test groups two and three was significantly increased(P<0.05). The numbers of Escherichia coli and Salmonella in three test groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05). In conclusion, adding complex bacteriophage preparation can improve the performance of sows, improve the body immunity, and improve the intestinal microecological environment. 300 g of complex bacteriophage preparation per ton of sows basal diet is a more appropriate dose.
