| Abstract: | Five series of inoculation experiments proving the role of bud scale scars, stipule scars and leaf scars in infection of poplar by Aplanobacter populi are described. In addition details are given on the development of the buds and development of the shoots in the clones “Brabantica” and “Candicans”. |
