地涌金莲新品种‘佛喜金莲’

 ‘佛喜金莲’是从地涌金莲野生种群的天然变异植株中选育出的新品种。多年生大型草本，具叶鞘联合形成的假茎；株形伸展，株高（67.3 ± 4.6）cm；叶片卵圆形，叶形指数1.49 ~ 1.62，叶片羽状侧脉凸出明显，背面中脉基部红色，至顶端约1/2 处减淡为绿色；苞片卵状三角形，腹面自顶端至基部约7/10 为橙红色，基部约3/10 为黄橙色，背面橙红色；观赏性好。

A New Musella lasiocarpa Cultivar‘Foxi Jinlian’

‘Foxi Jinlian’is a new cultivar which is selected and bred from the natural variant plants ofMusella lasiocarpa（Franch.）C. Y. Wu ex H. W. Li. The cultivar is tufted perennial herb with persistentleaf-sheaths and loose in plant type. The average height of the plants is（67.3 ± 4.6）cm；Its leaf is ovate inshape with leaf index ranging from 1.49–1.62；The midrib of leaf is abaxially reddish at base and turns togreen gradually at about its half in length，pinnate veins distinct along midrib；The bract is triangle-ovate inshape whose color is orange-red on abaxial surface and yellow-orange（ca. 3/10 in length from its base toapex）to orange-red（the other ca. 7/10）on adaxial surface. The variety has great ornamental value，stronggrowing vigor and high complex resistance to main disease. It is suitable to be cultivated for domesticdecoration and landscape designment widely.
