| Abstract: | ABSTRACT The yield, nutrient dynamics of cogongrass pasture, stocking rates and grazing on natural and/or with artificial pasture were measured. The results showed that the growing season of cogongrass pasture was from April to September. The forage yield increased, but crude protein content of plants and forage utilization de-creased during the growing perioe. The stocking rate recommended was 5 mu/sheep. The best proportions of grazing days on artificial and cogongrass pasture in May, June and July were 1:2, 2:1 and 1:1 respectively. |
