| Abstract: | The shellac produced by K. sindica (Mahdihassan), which was introduced from Bangladesh , under natural conditions in China has been proved to be of good quality. The alcohol lacquer prepared from special-purposed No. 1 shellac possessed following advantages : satisfactory in fluidity. high in transparency, well-distributed lacquer film,light in colour and smooth and firm. Percentages of the qualified products of smearing percussion cap get up to 97,film formation on tinfoil 95 (indoor) and 85 (outdoor). Thus the shellac can meet the needs of some special uses in industry. |
