矮秆体细胞变异体及其在水稻育种中的应用

摘    要: 以高秆大穗型水稻品种中花8号、中花10号为材料,在其幼穗体细胞无性系变异中,出现了许多矮秆变异体,试验表明这种变异体的株高性状在遗传上是稳定的,它们的大穗、大粒高产特性,随着株高的降低,千粒重、穗粒数等农艺性状也有所降低,从而会导致产量的变化。但也可从中选到植株较矮,产量和原种对照相近的矮秆变异系。

Abstract:Many semi-dwarf somaclonal variants have emerged from tissue cultures of immature inflorescences of good Japonica rice eultivar Zhonghua No. 8 and No.10. These short-culm variants are genetically stable. Besides the variation in plant height, other important agronomic characters, such as thousand-grain weight, grain number perpanicle etc, were also changed, which, in many cases, led up to yield changes compared with the original cultivars. However, some semi-dwarf variants selected do have a yielding capacity compared with the original cultivars.
