Abstract: | Metalaxyl greatly reduced the incidences of root dieback and cavity spot in carrots in field and pot experiments, and in spray tests in growers' fields. Propamocarb and fosetyl-Al also greatly reduced cavity spot in a pot experiment. No significant effects were attributable to aldicarb, benomyl, iprodione or a micronutrient compound containing Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Co, B and Mo. |
