| Abstract: | According to domestic research advance, determination method for propionate in food was reviewed, especially on the common methods such as gas chromatography（ GC ）, liquid chromatography （HPLC）, ion chromatography（ IC ）, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC-MS）. Finally, it was suggested that different detection methods should he adopted according to different product qualities. |
