利用速生杨木单板,生产弯曲胶合异型家具构件.通过对其主要性能指标的检测,探讨以速生杨木单板为原料制造弯曲胶合异型家具构件的可能性,并对影响构件质量的因素进行分析.结果表明:杨木异型家具构件产品的性能.超过了相关质量标准的要求,可用于替代高档硬质实木使用,提升了杨木产品的科技含量和附加值.

Properties of Curved Laminated Poplar Veneer Lumber for Furniture Parts

An increasing demand for wood to meet the furniture market provides challenges and opportunities to explore new and fast growing materials for making curved lumber.Plantation poplar,which is a fast growing and relatively low value species,was used to make curved laminated-veneer furniture parts and then their physical and mechanical performances were evaluated in this study.The results indicated that properties of the furniture parts met the national standard requirements.This showed that laminated poplar veneer lumber could substitute some solid wood in furniture manufacturing and thus add value to poplar-based products.
