Summary The use of nomograms for simplifying calculations It is pointed out, that computations can often be simplified considerably by using nomograms. Construction and use of such a nomogram for computing maize yields on a basis of 15.5% moisture is described in this paper. Figure 1 illustrates the construction of a part of the nomogram.
