| Abstract: | In recent years,the thermal power industry has developed rapidly. Since ＂Twelfth five＂period（Chi-na＇s national economic and social development planwhich are from 2011 to 2015）, China has promulgated more stringentemission standard of air pollutants for thermal power plants. Therefore, both of the existing and newly built thermal power plants are facingthe pressure of the sulfur dioxide emission. This article firstly introduces the classification of desutfurization technology and several mature desulfurization technologies, and then discusses the application ofeach desulfurization technologyin China. Finally, the article points out it could produce economic and environmental henefitsifthese advanced technologies are rationally used In China. |
