Direct Introduction Exogenous DNA Technique and Application in Soybean Breeding

Direct introduction exogenous DNA,also named pollen tube pathway,was a molecular breeding method invented by Chinese scholars.The method has been widely used in crop genetic improvement at present,because it has the advantages that transform seeds can be directly got,with high transform frequency,easy and simple to handle,material variety,etc.This article describes the principles of the direct introduction exogenous DNA technique,and its application in soybean breeding.Finally,the technology has been evaluated.
