| Abstract: | The developing areas of video endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography, and small-bowel endoscopy are discussed in this article, and new endoscopic approaches to strictures and bleeding lesions of the gastrointestinal tract are presented. The potential applications of these techniques in veterinary medicine are left to the imagination of the reader. |
