燕尔窝古白榆根系分布特征

采用挖掘法对乌鲁木齐市燕尔窝地区古白榆树的根系及根量分布特征进行了研究。研究表明，根系主要分布在地表20cm以下的土层空间。根系的垂直分布在冠缘内主要集中在1m深范围内，不同的根系剖面形成不同的根系层；根系的水平分布呈近密远疏的趋势，根量的垂直分布随土层深度增加呈先增加后降低的趋势；其水平分布随着距根基距离的增大而减少，以2m内最为密集。

Study on the Root Distribution Characteristic and Root Biomass of Ulmus pumila in Yanerwo Scenery Site of Urumqi

The study on distribution characteristics of the root system and root biomass of Ulmus pumila in Yanerwo scenery site of Urumqi was conducted by excavating method.The study results indicated that the root system mainly was distributed below 20 cm depth of the surface.The root system mainly was distributed in 1 m depth of soil inside the range of the tree crown's radius in the vertical direction.The section of different root system formed different layer of root system.As the depth of soil layer becomes deeper,the biomass was increased at first and then was decreased in vertical direction.Based on the vertical distribution of root biomass,the deeper the soil layer is,the less the root biomass becomes.The longer the root biomass is away from the trunk,the less the root biomass becomes,but the biomass was the densest in the range of(2 m) of radius.
