The growth and essential oil (EO) production of parsley were evaluated in response to salinity and nutrient solution concentrations in a soilless culture. Parsley plants that were 60 days old were potted in a coconut fiber and peat moss medium and were treated with four different nutrient solutions, including T1, T2, T3 and T4. The T1 nutrient solution was the standard, the T2 and T3 solutions contained incremental macronutrient concentrations with an electrical conductivity (EC) of up to 2.2 and 3.2 dS m?1, respectively, and the T4 solution was the same as T2 but with sodium chloride (NaCl) and an incremental macronutrient concentration with an EC of 3.2 dS m?1. Next, these plants were grown for 90 days in a greenhouse with natural daylight in Nador, Morocco. Shoot and root growth significant decreased with increasing EC. However, the salinity that resulted from the addition of NaCl did not affect plant growth in the nutrient solutions. The optimum obtained growth and EO production were 1.2 and 2.2 dS m?1, respectively. A comparison was made to investigate the effects of two potting methods: coconut husk/ sphagnum moss and a plastic forestry tube with a peat-based medium (Sunshine® mix #1, Sungro Horticulture, Agawam, MA, USA), on the growth and yield of Romaine ‘Ridgeline’ and Buttercrunch ‘UH Manoa’ lettuce (Lactuca sativa) using a non-circulating hydroponics system. Two-week old lettuce seedlings were transplanted into 5 cm holes, 20 × 30 cm apart on polystyrene bead boards fitted on top of a 0.6 m wide, 1.2 m long and 25 cm deep hydroponics tanks. A standard hydroponics nutrient solution was prepared using Chem Gro® (Hydro-Gardens, Colorado Springs, CO) (8-15-36 + micronutrients), calcium nitrate [Ca(NO3)2] and magnesium sulfate (MgSO4). Each tank contained either one lettuce variety, replicated 12 times in completely randomized design. Growth and yields significantly increased in both lettuce varieties grown in coconut husk/sphagnum moss plugs which were attributed by their relatively greater water holding capacities and a more favorable media that allowed better root growth. 相似文献

为了探讨施硫量对不同基因型大豆7S和11S球蛋白亚基组成及含量的影响,寻找不同基因型大豆品种最佳施硫水平,以期提高大豆籽粒球蛋白的含量,改善期品质。选用在黑龙江省种植面积较大的‘黑农48’(高蛋白)、‘黑农37’(中间型)和‘黑农44’(高油)3种大豆作为试验材料。采用盆栽种植,每个品种设S1、S2、S3、S4 4个S处理(即每千克土壤分别施单质硫0、0.02、0.04、0.06 g)。采用SDS-PAGE凝胶电泳方法,对成熟大豆籽粒球蛋白亚基组成和含量2个指标进行研究。结果表明:在3个大豆品种中,7S球蛋白由α′、α、γ、β 4个亚基组成;11S球蛋白由酸性亚基和碱性亚基组成;各种亚基分子量在品种间的差异不显著。同一品种不同处理中均以S3水平下蛋白含量最高,对不同品种施用硫肥时,以高油品种提高球蛋白含量效果显著。施用硫肥对3个大豆品种的7S和11S球蛋白各种亚基组成都没有影响,对分子量的大小影响很小。施用硫肥对3个大豆品种中的7S和11S球蛋白和亚基含量有显著影响,适宜的施用硫肥有利于提高各品种球蛋白和亚基的含量。 相似文献

采用超声波处理小麦胚芽球蛋白以提高其功能性质.研究了超声波处理对小麦胚芽球蛋白理化和功能性质的影响.结果表明:经超声波处理后,小麦胚芽球蛋白的巯基和二硫键含量、紫外光谱和荧光光谱均发生了显著的变化.随着超声波功率的增加,小麦胚芽球蛋白的疏水性、起泡性、起泡稳定性、乳化性和乳化稳定性都降低;当超声波功率大于900 W时,由于小麦胚芽球蛋白重新伸展,疏水基团暴露增多,引起疏水性、起泡性、起泡稳定性、乳化性和乳化稳定性增加.此外.超声波功率对小麦胚芽球蛋白的溶解度有显著影响,随着超声波功率的增加其溶解度明显增加.因此,通过选择适宜的超声波功率水平能够改善小麦胚芽球蛋白的理化和功能性质. 相似文献

Information about reproductive season, size at sexual maturity and size-dependent reproductive potentials is important for
efficient resource management. Such information is necessary to determine seasonal closures and minimum legal size limits.
To conserve resources of coconut crab Birgus latro, which are in danger of extinction due to excessive exploitation, their reproductive season, female size at functional maturity
and relationship between female size and reproductive potentials were investigated. The reproductive season started in early
June and ended late August, and females with higher reproductive potentials showed a tendency to spawn early in the reproductive
season. The prohibition of exploiting the resources during the reproductive season, especially early in the season, would
be appropriate for sustainability of high reproductive outputs. Fifty percent of investigated females matured functionally
at 24.5-mm thoracic length (TL). However, the size at which all females reached functional maturity was 32.3 mm TL, and there
was a wide variation in the size of functional maturity among individuals. We must determine minimum legal size by taking
the variation into account to allow all individuals to mate at least once before they are caught, which may prevent serious

以成熟椰子水为试验材料,以吸光度、pH、白利糖度和电导率为指标,结合感官评价对 4 个贮藏温度下的椰子水品质变化特点进行分析。结果表明,各处理随贮藏时间延长,吸光值均逐渐增大,pH 值均逐渐减小,电导率呈增大趋势;温度越低,吸光值增大越缓慢和 pH 维持稳定的时间段越长,说明低温更有利于椰子水的贮藏;相同贮藏温度,密封和非密封保存时间无差别,37℃ 可保存 5 h,24℃ 可保存 8 h,14℃ 可保存 22 h,4℃ 可保存 7 d。椰子水的吸光值和 pH 值剧变时间点与椰子水变质时间节点最接近,其中吸光值变化最为显著,吸光值和 pH 变化可作为反映椰子水变质的主要指标;椰子水收集后迅速降至 4℃ 可满足工业生产要求。 相似文献
