In the present study, the location, histology and number of corpuscles of Stannius (Sc), which are endocrine glands associated with the kidneys of teleost fish, were investigated for the first time in Lake Van fish (Alburnus tarichi), an anadromous and endemic inhabiting Turkey's Lake Van Basin. The Sc, which were ovoid or spheroid and white or cream in colour, were found to vary in number between three and five among the examined fish. The glands were located in the caudal part of the kidney, and either partially or completely embedded, and found to be present on both the ventral and dorsal surface of either side of the caudal part of the kidney. The Sc were surrounded by a connective tissue capsule that penetrated and divided the gland into incomplete lobules. Two types of cells were determined in the parenchyma of the gland. Type-I cells were predominant throughout the parenchyma and larger than the second (type-II). In the type-I cells, the cytoplasm was observed as weakly or moderately eosinophilic with haematoxylin and eosin staining and weakly or moderately acidophilic with Mallory's triple staining. In the type-I cells, the cytoplasm exhibited weak to moderate periodic acid-Schiff staining and slight or uniform staining with aldehyde fuchsin. The type-II cells were round, had a darkly stained spherical nucleus and were dispersed among the type-I cells. They displayed no cytoplasmic staining with the abovementioned stains.  相似文献

鲫鱼体腔注入0.68MCaCl2后2-16小时血清Ca^2+浓度显著高于正常对照组,但其数值随时间的延长而逐渐降低,16小时后继续降低,到48小时其值显著低于正常对照组,低血钙状态持续到96小时,我们认为Ca^2+浓度的这种变化特征与斯坦尼小体的功能密切相关。  相似文献

[目的]检测鲫鱼斯坦尼小体组织匀浆对其血清离子钙的降低作用。[方法]将选购自农贸市场体重约200 g的健康鲫鱼在加入EDTA.2Na.2H2O自来水的低钙环境中饲养8周,之后用斯坦尼小体组织匀浆按每100 g体重1.0 m l的剂量进行体腔注射,以0.6%NaC l溶液作对照注射,注射后于不同时间断尾取血,制备血清,测量血清钙离子的浓度。[结果]鲫鱼饲养在低钙水中8周,其血清离子钙浓度没有统计上的变化,却使其对CS组织匀浆产生应答性的低血钙反应。30 mg/100 g.b.w的早春鲫鱼斯坦尼小体组织匀浆,对其正常生理水平的血清离子钙有明显的降低效应,该效应至少可持续到注入匀浆后的72 h。最佳效应时间为注入后的48 h,此时的Ca2+浓度尚达不到对照组的80%,低血钙效应大约在98 h后消失。[结论]研究推测,鱼类在排卵中或排卵后可能处于低血钙状态。  相似文献

The structure and physiology of salmon teleocalcin, a Ca+2 regulating hormone from the corpuscles of Stannius (CS) is reviewed. Teleocalcin is produced by the PAS+, type 1 cells in the CS. The hormone is a disulfide-linked homodimer, with a unique amino acid sequence and a carbohydrate moiety on residue 29. The teleocalcin monomer has a MW of 30 KD, whereas the pro-form of the monomer is 32 KD. The hormone is positively regulated by Ca+2 and its function is to slow the active transport of Ca+2 across the gill epithelium. In conjunction with prolactin, which stimulates Ca+2 transport, teleocalcin is one of the major factors involved in Ca+2 homeostasis in fish.  相似文献

本文对鲤斯坦尼氏小体进行了显微及超微结构的观察。斯氏小体由许多腺泡组成。根据其组织学变化,可分为发育期、生长期、分泌期及萎缩期。发育期细胞位于腺泡壁或腔中,界线不清,胞核平均直径5.6μm,常见有丝分裂现象。生长期细胞位于腺泡周缘,胞质内出现电子密度高的分泌颗粒,细胞器发达,有排列成行的粗面内质网,众多的线粒体以及高尔基氏体。分泌期细胞器缺乏,萎缩期只有细胞核和少量残留细胞质。  相似文献

应用免疫组化技术并结合图像分析软件研究了β-内啡肽、胃泌素、胰高血糖素、5-羟色胺、血管活性肠肽、神经肽Y、生长抑素细胞在鸭胸腺中的表达特征。结果显示:7种神经内分泌细胞在胸腺中呈强阳性表达;β-内啡肽阳性细胞在皮质部较多,而胃泌素、胰高血糖素、5-羟色胺、血管活性肠肽、神经肽Y、生长抑素阳性细胞在髓质和皮髓质交界区的数量高于皮质部;除胰高血糖素外,其余6种神经内分泌激素在胸腺小体中呈不同程度的阳性反应。本试验结果说明,鸭胸腺不仅是中枢免疫器官,而且具有重要的神经内分泌功能;β-内啡肽阳性细胞在T淋巴细胞的发育中发挥重要作用;胃泌素、胰高血糖素、5-羟色胺、生长抑素、血管活性肠肽、神经肽Y阳性细胞在髓质部和皮髓质交界区的表达有利于其通过内分泌、自分泌或旁分泌方式调节T细胞的发育。同时,也探讨了胸腺小体的功能。  相似文献

Mesocestoides cestode infections in dogs are well known for causing severe peritonitis with larvae or larval fragments (metacestodes, tetrathyridia, or calcareous corpuscles) frequently observed cytologically in peritoneal fluid samples. This case report describes the cytologic and clinical features of 2 dogs infected with cestode larvae, with one case confirmed and the other presumed to be Mesocestoides sp. In these 2 unusual cases, cestode larvae or larval fragments were found in fine‐needle aspirates of the liver and a mesenteric lymph node, but no organisms were found in peritoneal fluid samples. The data presented in this report indicate that clinical pathologists should not rule out Mesocestoides sp cestodiasis based on the absence of larvae in peritoneal fluid samples from dogs.  相似文献
