Materials Hydrogen Storage V3TiNi0.56Al0.2 by Self-propagating High-temperature synthesis

With the help of the calculation of adiabatic temperature and thermodynamic analysis of the reactive system the autaurs discuss possibility about system of V 2O 5-TiO 2-Al by Self-propagating High-temperature synthesis(SHS).Hydrogen Storage V 3TiNi 0.56 Al 0.2 by SHS is studied by XRD,SEM and scanning electron microscopy.The experiment result indicates that it has same microstructure between synthesization by SHS and other ways.PCT curve indicated that alloy has certain hydrogen storage capability,saturated capacity of hydrogen storage is 0.092 L/g,which is a little lower than alloy by other ways.     

PCT和N-(DH)AK对菊花水培扦插生理生化的影响

为初步探明两种新合成的膦酸酯类化合物PCT和N-(DH)AK对高等植物生长发育的影响作用,以不同浓度梯度(0、10、20、40、80 mg/L)的PCT和N-(DH)AK水溶液对菊花插条基部进行处理,测定了处理后水培扦插不同时期(2周和3周)菊花的生根和根苗生长状况以及叶片中叶绿素和可溶性蛋白的含量.结果表明:PCT和N-(DH)AK均能明显提高扦插菊花的生根率、生根数和根长以及叶片中叶绿素和可溶性蛋白的含量,并使根和苗生长健壮.两种化合物均以40mg/L处理效果较好,其中N-(DH)AK40mg/L的作用效果优于PCT.     

Evaluation of platelet count and its association with plateletcrit, mean platelet volume, and platelet size distribution width in a canine model of endotoxemia

BACKGROUND: Platelets are of great importance in the pathogenesis of endotoxemia. Although thrombocytopenia is used as a diagnostic sign of endotoxemia, changes in values for platelet indices (plateletcrit [PCT], mean platelet volume [MPV], and platelet size distribution width [PDW]) in response to endotoxin are still unknown. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate platelet count and its relations with platelet indices in a canine model of endotoxemia. Methods: Twenty dogs were divided into 2 groups of 10 each, and treated intravenously with Escherichia coli endotoxin (1 mg/kg) or vehicle. Venous blood samples were collected before treatment (0 hour) and 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24 hours after treatment. Platelet counts and indices were determined on a CELL-DYN hematology analyzer. RESULTS: The platelet count and PCT decreased by a mean of 73% and 93%, respectively (P<.001), at 0.5 hour, and remained 70% and 85% lower than baseline values (P<.001) for 24 hours after endotoxin injection. MPV and PDW increased by a mean of 28% and 45%, respectively (P<.01), at 0.5 hour, and remained increased by 7% and 16% over baseline values for 24 hours (P<.01-.001). Platelet count correlated positively with PCT (P<.001), but correlated negatively with MPV (P<.001) and PDW (P<.01). CONCLUSIONS: Changes in platelet count and its association with platelet indices may reflect changes in platelet production and reactivity. Platelet indices have potential value in the diagnosis and monitoring of dogs and humans with endotoxemia.

犬降钙素原蛋白多克隆抗体制备及应用分析

试验旨在获得高纯度犬降钙素原（procalcitonin,PCT）重组蛋白,并对该蛋白的临床应用进行分析。采用大肠杆菌表达外源蛋白的方法,将PCT基因克隆至原核表达载体pET-30a（+）中,经双酶切和测序鉴定阳性的重组质粒转化大肠杆菌BL21（DE3）感受态细胞,以终浓度为1 mmol/L的IPTG诱导表达,采用镍柱进行重组蛋白的纯化,纯化蛋白免疫小鼠制备多克隆抗体,间接ELISA法检测抗体效价,Western blotting检测重组蛋白与犬PCT多克隆抗体的特异性,采用ELISA法检测健康犬和炎症犬血清PCT。双酶切及测序结果显示,犬PCT基因成功插入pET-30a（+）,未出现碱基突变;SDS-PAGE结果显示,重组蛋白以可溶性形式表达,分子质量为14.9 ku,间接ELISA法测定的免疫小鼠血清抗体效价达1：51 200。Western blotting结果表明,制备的多抗血清具有很好的特异性;ELISA结果显示,炎症犬血清内检测到PCT,且其浓度与炎症反应程度呈正相关。结果表明,本研究成功制备了犬PCT蛋白多克隆抗体,且犬血清PCT蛋白是一种潜在的新型严重细菌性炎症感染指示物。     

I. Immunosurveillance and tumorigenesis in BALB/c mice—1. Early reactive state in mesenteric granulomas

The cellular immune response in BALB/c mice mesenteric granulomas (MG) was analysed by the means of functional ultrastructure and the assessment of the presence or absence of asynchronous plasma cells in situ.

Results from this study establish: (a) the sequential events involved in the genesis of the oil-induced granulomas, (b) the weak T-cellular immune response and the almost absence of these cells in mitosis, (c) the presence of asynchronous plasma cells of type II was found in mice Nos. 8, 9, 10 and 11 and they were considered to be plasma cell mutants of temporary type, to indicate the first step of this cell alienation in tumorigenesis, (d) the high ratio of peritoneal macrophages was found and connected with what is known about it in the literature. It was speculated that the supraoptimal presence of peritoneal macrophages could have been responsible for the appearance of plasma cell mutants and (e) four morphological types of macrophages have been found in this animal's oil-induced MG, representing different stages of the monocyte transformation in situ.
