The materials for studying the development of muscle tissue and particular skeletal muscles at the anatomical regions of the body in the red steppe young stock are presented in comparative aspects. Agerelated changes in the muscle tissue growth rates in different periods of rearing and fattening the animals were caused by both the unequal intensities of its development in different body parts and the increasing process of lipogenesis associated with aging. 相似文献

Concentrations of the main components and activities of Ca2+, Na+, Cl?, and NO3? were determined in soil solutions displaced from chernozem samples (A1 horizon). To calculate ion activity in these solutions, it was necessary to consider formation of Ca2+, Mg2 and Na+ complexes with organic anions. If 1 : 1-composition of these complexes was assumed, dependence of their stability constants on the ionic strengths was found; this allowed a 17% average error for Ca2+ activity and 8% for Na+ activity in the calculations. As followed from the computations, 68–80% of the Ca2+ and Mg2+ were included in ion pairs and complexes with 91–97% of these amounts bound with organic anions. The values for the calcite solubility product were close to those for pure saltwater systems. 相似文献

The germplasm collections of the Vavilov Institute of Plant Industry, Russia represent the first germplasm collection made for potatoes, now numbering 8,680 accessions. It has tremendous historical and practical importance and a rich history, having been used to document a polyploid series in the cultivated species, to formulate initial taxonomic hypotheses in potato, for studies of interspecific hybridization, and serving as the germplasm base for Russian breeding efforts. Despite its importance and size, there has never been a study of its molecular diversity, and there were many gaps in its passport data. The purpose of the present study is to obtain morphological, ploidy, and microsatellite (SSR) data needed to set up a useful subset of the collection of cultivated potatoes and closely related wild species, and to use this collection to study cultivated potato taxonomy and phylogeny. Through assessments of viability, passport data, and chromosome counts, we selected a subset of 238 cultivated and 54 wild accessions. A morphological and nuclear SSR study of these collections distinguished only three cultivated species: Solanum curtilobum, S. juzepczukii and S. tuberosum, not the many more cultivated potato species of prior taxonomic treatments. The SSR study supports the ideas of S. acaule as one of the parental species for S. curtilobum and S. juzepczukii. The morphological and SSR results are very similar to other recent studies of cultivated species, and show the need to reclassify the collection of cultivated potatoes by modern taxonomic criteria. 相似文献

A geoinformation database for assessing soil resource potential for horticulture in Krasnodar region and Adygea has been developed. The results of geoinformation analysis indicate that only 55–60% of soils in these regions are suitable for growing horticultural crops without limitations; about 35–40% of the total soil area is unsuitable for horticultural purposes. For plum trees, the area of unsuitable soils is somewhat lower than for other horticultural crops. Geographically, the areas of soils suitable and unsuitable for horticulture are close to one another. The thickness of the loose earthy soil material, the gravel content, the degree of salinization, the soil texture, and the degree of soil hydromorphism are the major soil properties imposing considerable limitations for the development of fruit-growing industry in the studied regions. The highest portions of soils suitable for horticulture are found in Eiskii, Kushchevskii, Krylovskii, Shcherbinovskii, and Novokubanskii districts of Krasnodar region. The development of horticulture in Tuapsinskii, Slavyanskii, and Primorsko-Akhtarskii districts is limited because of the unsuitability of soils for this purpose. About 8% of the existing orchards are found on soils recognized as unsuitable for horticulture, and only about 20% of the existing orchards are found on soils suitable for fruit growing without limitations. About 70% of the existing fruit orchards are located on degraded soils or on soils with certain limitations for horticulture. The profitability of fruit orchards on such soils is lower than that of the orchards planted on soils without limitations for horticulture. Potato cyst nematodes (PCN) collected in six localities in the Leningrad region of North West Russia were identified as Globodera rostochiensis pathotype Ro1 and were used for subsequent resistance tests. Seventy‐nine accessions of cultivated and closely related wild potato species from the VIR collection in Russia were screened on resistance to G. rostochiensis pathotype Ro1 and on the presence of molecular markers for H1 and Gro1‐4 resistance genes. No associations were detected between the resistance level of diploid and tetraploid Andean and tetraploid Chilean potato landraces (indigenous cultivars) and their related wild species and their geographical distribution or presence of PCR‐based markers that are associated with the H1 and Gro1‐4 genes. At the same time, all susceptible genotypes lacked such markers. New sources of resistance were found and could be used in breeding. 相似文献

The genetics of host-pathogen interactions in the Hordeum vulgare – P. teres f. teres pathosystem was studied in twelve resistant barley accessions, i.e. CI 9825, CI 9819, Diamond, CI 4922, CI 5401, Harbin,
c-8755, c-21849, c-8721 c-23874, c-19979, c-15811. F2 analyses of crosses with susceptible genotypes employing various isolates (from Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia) revealed
that resistance is mostly isolate-specific and controlled by one or two genes. Segregation in ascospore progeny from two crosses
between isolates of different origin revealed that avirulence in P. teres is also determined by one or two genes. An epistatic effect of suppressor genes on avirulence genes is proposed for the genetics
of virulence to Diamond, Harbin, CI 5401 and c-8721 in the fungal crosses D (181-6 × A80) and F (H-22 × 92-178/9). Segregation
in F2 of crosses of three new sources of resistance (c-23874, c-19979, c-15811) to the susceptible cv. Pirkka was studied in laboratory
and greenhouse tests by using seven P. teres isolates, i.e. 181-6, d8-3, d8-4, d9-1, d9-4, F4 and F74. In addition, virulence to these barley accessions of ascospore
progeny from crosses of the same isolates was studied. Based on these studies it was concluded that depending on the isolate
used, resistance of c-23874 is determined at least by two genes and in c-19979 and c-15811 by three genes. The results of
this parallel analyses of genetics of resistance and genetics of virulence allows the postulation of a gene–for–gene interaction

The main causal agent of early blight, the noxious disease of solanaceous crops, is generally considered to be Alternaria solani Sorauer (in a broad sense). However, heterogeneity in many morphological features of this pathogen has been noted suggesting that the disease may not be caused by a single species. Recent research has revealed that several large-spored Alternaria species may cause disease of potato and tomato including A. solani sensu stricto and A. tomatophila. The goal of our research was to compare Russian large-spored Alternaria isolates from tomato and potato to test the hypothesis that early blight of tomato and potato are caused by different species. Cluster analysis of genetic distances estimated from 12 polymorphic molecular markers (universally primed-polymerase chain reaction and randomly amplified polymorphic DNA) revealed two groups of isolates accepted here as A. solani and A. tomatophila that were supported by morphology and host plant association. Differentiation of species was supported by phylogeny derived from the DNA sequences of a portion of the Alt a1, gpd and calmodulin genes. Species-specific primers based on the Alt a1 and calmodulin gene sequences for both species were designed. Under laboratory conditions, A. solani isolates were equally aggressive on both tomato and potato, whereas A. tomatophila was highly aggressive to tomato but only weakly aggressive to potato. In the field, A. solani was isolated from potato, tomato and from several wild potato species including S. schickii, S. papita and S. kurtzianum. The majority (90 %) of A. solani isolates carried the mating type locus 1 (MAT1) idiomorph MAT1-1 while the majority (88 %) of A. tomatophila isolates carried the MAT1-2 idiomorph. 相似文献
