Studies on the composition of traditional weaning foods in Nigeria: (I) Protein content

The nutritive characteristers of some weaning foods used in Bendel State, Nigeria, were analysed. The results obtained show that there are locally prepared weaning foods in the community with valuable nutritional status when compared to other values previously reported on prepared protein mixtures.
