Morphophysiological traits of spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) forms are studied in pot and field experiments with 18-, 12-, and 8-h photoperiods. Genes controlling photoperiod sensitivity (Ppd) and growth habit (Vrn) are determined in these forms by means of hybridological analysis and allele-specific molecular markers. Ultra-early forms are valuable parent material for breeding common wheat for early ripening. 相似文献

The response of wheat varieties and breeding lines to vernalization and photoperiod in pot experiments is studied and tested
by means of allele-specific markers for genes Ppd and Vrn. These markers effectively predict the degree of photoperiod sensitivity of plants to vernalization, which attests to the
expediency of using them in breeding practice. 相似文献

Oat lines (A. sativa) are studied in long and short photoperiods. Fast-ripening low-sensitive and late-ripening sensitive forms of this culture, differing for photoperiodic sensitivity genes, were selected from the hybrid population. The effect of short photoperiods on economically valuable traits is established. The long flag leaf sheath and high relative content of chlorophyll contributed to increased panicle productivity in oat lines. 相似文献

Lines of the genetic collection of Linum usitatissimum L. from different ecogeographic provenances are investigated under long- and short-photoperiod conditions. The effect of a short photoperiod on economically valuable traits is established and early-flowering weakly sensitive and late-flowering sensitive forms of flax are selected from a hybrid population. 相似文献

Wheat isogenic lines differing in the spinous and color of ear and having weak photoperiodic sensitivity were created. They are significantly more precocious than the original highly sensitive parent variety Leningradka (Leningrad oblast) and the Courier standard variety (Krasnodar krai) in conditions of both short and long natural photoperiod. The lines are not inferior in productivity to the parent variety Leningradka. Molecular genetic analysis reveals the presence of the dominant allele Ppd-D1a in the lines. 相似文献
