Factors influencing seed reserve utilization during seedling establishment in maize inbred lines

Comparative analysis of proteomic profiles between endometrial caruncular and intercaruncular areas in ewes during the peri-implantation period

The endometrium of sheep consists of plenty of raised intercaruncular areas （IC）. In order to better understand aglandular areas called caruncular （C）, and intensely glandular the endometrium involved mechanisms of implantation, we used LC-MS/MS technique to profile the proteome of ovine endometrial C areas and IC areas separately during the peri-implantation period, and then compared the proteomic profiles between these two areas. We successfully detected 1740 and 1813 proteins in C areas and IC areas respectively. By comparing the proteome of these two areas, we found 170 differentially expressed proteins （DEPs） （P 〈 0.05）, functional bioinformatics analysis showed these DEPs were mainly involved in growth and remodeling of endometrial tissue, cell adhesion and protein transport, and so on Our study, for the first time, provided a proteomic reference for elucidating the differences between C and IC areas, as an integrated function unit respectively, during the peri-implantation period. The results could help us to better understand the implantation in the ewes. In addition, we established a relatively detailed protein database of ovine endometrium, which provide a unique reference for further studies.     

Production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies reactive with the chicken interleukin-15 receptor alpha chain

We recently cloned the genes encoding chicken IL-15 and IL-15 receptor (R) alpha proteins. In this study, 12 monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against recombinant chicken IL-15Ralpha were produced and characterized. By enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), all mAbs showed binding specificity for IL-15Ralpha, but not IL-2 or interferon-gamma, and identified a 25.0kDa protein by immunoblot analysis. Flow cytometric analysis revealed negligible expression of IL-15Ralpha on non-activated lymphocytes from the spleen, thymus or bursa, low but detectable expression on macrophages and high expression on concanavalin A-activated spleen lymphoblasts. Established chicken T cell (RP13) and macrophage (HD11) cell lines expressed substantially higher levels of IL-15Ralpha compared with a B cell line (RP9). Two mAbs inhibited IL-15 dependent proliferation of T cells suggesting that the tertiary structure of the protein domain of native IL-15Ralpha that binds to IL-15 is preserved in the recombinant receptor molecule. These mAbs will be useful reagents for further in vitro and in vivo studies of the biological functions of chicken IL-15 and its receptor.     

Analysis of Application of Information in Mid - mini Enterprises on Condition of Mass- economy

The group of Mid - mini enterprises under mass - economy is the intermediate organization built up by specialized division of work and cooperation. This kind of organization is flexible in operation with high efficiency, but difficult in development of new technology. On the basis of analyzing the character and deficiency of the mid - mini enterprises, in this paper, through providing a framework of information service platform for the mid - mini enterprises to enhance their creative ability and complex competition. The construction and operational strategy of such platform are investigated. Finally a successful case study is given.     

Model of Information Integrating in CIMS Based on the Object-oriented Method

Information integrating is the most important key to CIMS,which is the base of the function integrating and all others.Because of so many kinds,so complicated structure,so many different sources and uses that the information in CIMS has,it is necessary to build a popular Information Integrating Model. The model of information integrating in the thesis bases on the enterprise model,which is presented by ISO(International Organization for Standardization).According to the object-oriented method,the process of modeling begins with classifying the information,and then describes the definition of the attributes and the structural relation of those objects. By means of the idea of Encapsulation and Inheritance,the destination of information integrating can be arrive and the model of information integrating can be set up. The model which is based on the share information is helpful to finish the function integrating and the whole CIMS' construction. Moreover,the system which is developed following such program can be reused for many times and the developing circle of CIMS can be apparently shortened,too.     

The research in processing fMRI data using temporal-spatial model based on CCA

In the analysis of cognition of human brain,the fMRI is often used.Corelation is a common method in fMRI data detecting,but its ability should be improved.Based on the Canonical Correlation Analysis(CCA),the temporal correlation and spatial correlation are used together to detect the activated area in the fMRI data.By the application of the method in simulation data and fMRI data,it shows that this method is effective in the detecting.
