Irrigated agriculture may negatively affect groundwater quality and increase off-site salt and nitrate contamination. Management alternatives aimed at reducing these potential problems were analysed in the 15498 ha CR-V Irrigation District (Spain) by monitoring 49 wells and modelling the hydrological regime in a representative well of the Miralbueno Aquifer. Groundwaters presented low to moderate electrical conductivity (EC) (mean = 0.89 dS/m) and high [NO3] (mean = 94 mg/L). The groundwater depth (GWD) during the 2001 hydrological year responded to the annual cycles of precipitation and irrigation as well as to the secondary cycles derived from irrigation scheduling. GWD were consistently simulated by the groundwater BAS-A model. Model results indicate that an increase in irrigation efficiency and the pumping of groundwater for irrigation will decrease GWD and aquifer's discharge by 56–70%, depending on scenarios. These recommendations will save good-quality water in the reservoir, will be beneficially economical to farmers, and will minimize off-site salt and nitrogen contamination.  相似文献

针对近年来商用车侧翻事故的凸现,提出了一种利用空气悬架提高车辆倾翻阀值,减小车辆倾翻危险的方法,编写了控制器,在MATLAB中SIMULINK下建立了七自由度车辆模型,并进行了仿真。仿真结果表明,半主动空气悬架能够有效提高车辆倾翻阀值,提高车辆抗侧翻能力。  相似文献

In the present study, embryogenic calli of sugarcane variety BL4 were induced using 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and kinetin in different concentrations and combinations. In contrast to earlier studies, embryogenic callus sectors were identified and isolated microscopically within 1–2 weeks. Subsequently, 51 media formulations were used for regeneration of proliferated embryogenic callus, using MS medium supplemented with three different cytokinins [kinetin, 6-Benzylamino purine (BAP), and thidiazuron (TDZ)] and auxins (IAA/NAA and IBA) in different combination and concentrations. After acclimatization, the genomic DNA of regenerated plants was studied to explore the insertion polymorphism of transposable elements in order to ascertain the variation among somaclones. Though low concentration of kinetin with 2,4-D was found supportive to embryogenic callus development, the highest number of regenerated plantlets was observed using BAP (1 μM), however the plantlets had very low fresh weight (2.2 g). Conversely, TDZ alone supported a significant increase in the number of plantlets regenerated (38–40) with higher fresh weight. The somaclones generated during this study showed considerable positional polymorphism of activator-like transposable elements possibly due to the stress associated with in vitro culture. This study provides a procedure to produce regenerated sugarcane plants from embryogenic callus in a relatively short time.  相似文献

Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis) transgenic cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.), including the introduced, indigenous Chinese non‐hybrid and hybrid cotton, is spreading very rapidly in China. Agronomic and photosynthetic performance as well as the optimum plant density for planting Bt cotton may vary with genotypes. With three types of commercial Bt cotton varieties, two field experiments were conducted to study yield performance and leaf photosynthetic rate (Pn) during 2000 and 2001, and yield interaction between variety and plant density during 2001 and 2002 in Yellow River region in northern China. The first experiment showed that the indigenous Chinese Bt cotton significantly differed from the introduced Bt cotton (IBtC) in plant growth and yield components. As a result of manipulation of boll numbers, boll weight and lint percentage, there was no significant difference in lint yield between Chinese non‐hybrid Bt cotton (CBtC) and the IBtC, but two Chinese hybrid Bt cotton (HBtC) varieties exhibited significantly higher lint yield than all other varieties in either 2000 or 2001. Hybrid cotton SCRC15 showed a one‐peak curvilinear change in diurnal course of Pn throughout the growing season, while non‐hybrid cotton 33B and SCRC16 exhibited severe mid‐day depression in Pn in squaring, flowering or boll‐setting stage. The second experiment showed that the main effect of plant population on lint yield was not significant, and yield difference among all treatments was derived from varieties and the interaction between plant density and variety. The optimal plant densities in terms of lint yield for the introduced, indigenous CBtC and HBtC genotypes were 6.0, 4.5 and 3.0 plants m?2 respectively.  相似文献

Telone C-35, a commercial formulation of 1,3-dichloropropene (1,3-D) and chloropicrin (CP), is one of the potential replacements to methyl bromide (MB) for soil fumigation. A laboratory dose–response study and two field trials in tomato were conducted to evaluate their weed control efficacy and their effect on tomato yield. Laboratory studies found that the seeds of Digitaria chinensis were the most sensitive to soil fumigation with Telone C-35, followed by Eleusina indica, Portulaca oleracea and Stellaria media with the LC50 values between 3.35 and 11.68 mg kg−1 soil. Field trials revealed that Telone C-35 applied to the field at 327, 243 and 164 L ha−1 could suppress the percentage of germination weed seeds while maintaining high tomato marketable yields, with no significant differences between MB + CP and the higher two Telone C-35 rates. The yield data from both seasons indicated that all Telone C-35 treatments had a positive effect on tomato yield; there was a 32%–62% increase the mean marketable tomato yield. Our results indicated that Telone C-35 was an excellent MB alternative and could provide acceptable weed control efficacy. Based on our results, Telone C-35, in combination with other alternatives to MB, is recommended to achieve integrated pest management.  相似文献

Intercropping systems influence yield variables of the component crops, such as harvest index, hundred seed weight, number of reproductive organs and number of seeds, within each reproductive unit. Two experiments were carried out at each of two sites during 1993 and 1994. The first experiment investigated the effects of seeding soybean or lupin alone or in combination with one of three forages (annual ryegrass, Lolium multiflorum Lam.; perennial ryegrass, Lolium perenne L.; red clover, Trifolium pratense L.) with corn on the yield components of corn, soybean and lupin. The second experiment examined the effects of seeding date (simultaneous with corn or 3 weeks later) and number of rows of large seeded legumes (one or two) seeded between the corn rows. Corn grain yield was generally not affected by any intercrop treatment, although in 1993 some simultaneously seeded treatments resulted in decreased yields. Soybean grain yield was decreased by most treatments, although some simultaneous seedings produced yields similar to soybean monocrops. Lupin grew poorly as an intercrop component, producing little or no grain. Corn harvest index was not affected by any intercrop treatments. Seeding corn and large-seeded legumes simultaneously resulted in decreases in corn hundred seed weights by as much as 6.6 g compared with the monocropped corn. In 1993 (a year with normal precipitation levels), the hundred seed weight and number of seeds per soybean pod were decreased by intercropping, although the harvest index was not affected. In a high precipitation year (1994), the soybean harvest index was decreased by intercropping, but not the seed components. The underseeded forages, annual ryegrass, perennial ryegrass and red clover, had no effect on yields or yield components of the other intercropped species.  相似文献

The response of the soil food web structure to soil quality changes during long-term anthropogenic disturbance due to farming practices has not been well studied. We evaluated the effects of three tillage systems: moldboard plow/rotary harrow (MP), rotary cultivator (RC), and no-tillage (NT), three winter cover-crop types (fallow, FL; rye, RY; and hairy vetch, HV), and two nitrogen fertilization rates (0 and 100 kg N ha−1 for upland rice, and 0 and 20 kg N ha−1 for soybean production) on changes in nematode community structure. Sixty-nine taxa were counted, total nematode abundance (ALL), bacterial feeders (BAC), predators (PRD), omnivores (OMN), and obligatory root feeders (ORF) were more abundant in NT than in MP and RC, but fungal feeders and facultative root feeders (FFR) were more abundant in RC than in NT and MP. Cover crop also influenced nematode community structure; rye and hairy vetch were always higher in ALL, BAC, FFR, ORF, and OMN than fallow. Seasonal changes in nematode community structure were also significant; in particular, as soil carbon increased, nematode abundance also increased. The relationship between nematode indices and soil carbon was significant only in NT, but not in MP and RC. In NT, with increasing soil carbon, enrichment index and structure index (SI) were positive and significant and channel index was negative. Bulk density was significantly negatively correlated with FFR and ORF. Seasonal difference in nematode community between summer and autumn was larger in an upland rice rotation than in a soybean rotation. Over the nine-year experiment, SI increased not only in NT but also in MP and RC, suggesting that repeated similar tillage inversions in agroecosystems may develop nematode community structures adapted to specific soil environmental conditions. Because NT showed the highest values of both SI and soil carbon, the increase of soil carbon in NT is expected to have a great impact on developing a more diverse nematode community structure.  相似文献
