Sinapis alba subsp. mairei (H. Lindb. fil.) Maire, a wild subspecies of S. alba L., which is distributed throughout the Mediterranean basin, has been recently introduced in southern Spain as a winter cover crop in olive groves. The reason behind using this cover crop is for the reduction of Verticillium dahliae inoculum. The effectiveness of this cover crop for weed control has not been assessed to date, despite weed flora in olive groves being highly diverse and competitive, especially in spring and summer, when rainfall is low, temperature is high and crop water needs are at their maximum. The objective of this work is to assess the ability and optimum management of S. alba subsp. mairei cover crop residues for controlling summer weeds. This work offers a more detailed study of the influence of this cover crop on the seedling emergence of Amaranthus blitoides (prostrate pigweed) and Chenopodium album (common lambsquarters) in rainfed field conditions. A factorial design was conducted during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. The studied factors were the following: (1) S. alba subsp. mairei cover crops versus bare soil; (2) two different S. alba residue management techniques after mowing and chopping (incorporation into the soil with shallow tillage versus leaving the residues as a mulch); and (3) the effect on two artificially sown-out summer weeds (prostrate pigweed versus common lambsquarters). The S. alba subsp. mairei cover crop residues reduced the weed infestation by 50 and 60%, and it delayed weed appearance by 3 and 4 weeks the first and second years, respectively, compared with bare soil. The optimum cover crop residue management for weed control was to leave mulch. This management was especially efficient for controlling prostrate pigweed, whether no differences were found for common lambsquarters control when the residues were incorporated into the soil with tillage. These results indicate the great ability of S. alba subsp. mairei cover crop residues to provide summer weed control in rainfed field conditions. Its use, therefore, can contribute to the reduction of the number of herbicide treatments in olive groves.  相似文献

采用室内生物测定方法,研究了不同质量浓度的大豆根系浸提液(10,20,40,80 g·L~(-1))对3个茎瘤芥品种(永安小叶、涪杂2号和涪杂5号)种子萌发和幼苗生长的化感作用。结果表明:大豆根系浸提液对茎瘤芥具有明显的化感效应,包括促进、抑制和"低促高抑"3种化感作用类型,并具有品种效应和浓度效应。不同浓度的大豆根系浸提液对永安小叶和涪杂2号种子萌发的影响表现为促进作用,而对涪杂5号种子萌发则表现为"低促高抑"的规律;对涪杂2号幼苗根长为抑制作用,但对永安小叶和涪杂5号幼苗根长则呈"低促高抑"的规律;对3个茎瘤芥品种的幼苗苗高和生物量具有促进作用,且随着浸提液浓度的升高而增强。从综合化感效应来看,大豆根系浸提液对3个茎瘤芥品种总体上为促进作用,且对永安小叶的促进作用最大。因此,永安小叶是大豆最佳的接茬品种。  相似文献

以保研-7号红毛丹为供试水果,测定3种精油(芥末精油、丁香精油、诺丽精油)处理对其常温保鲜的效果,在筛选适宜浓度基础上,探讨各精油适宜处理水平对红毛丹果实品质的影响。结果表明:基于褐变抑制效果和药害发生,明确芥末精油、丁香精油和诺丽精油对采后红毛丹的适宜处理浓度分别为0.004、0.016、0.008 m L/kg。22℃下持续8 d的贮藏期试验结果表明,贮藏结束时,褐变指数依次为诺尼精油>丁香精油>芥末精油;芥末精油在维持果实L值和硬度、丁香精油在维持果实a值和b值、3种精油在维持可溶性固形物含量及膜完整性(相对电导率表示)方面均呈现出良好效果。基于上述3种植物精油对采后红毛丹的保鲜效果及其本身的天然属性,上述植物精油均呈现出一定的应用前景。  相似文献

芥菜型油菜光温敏核不育系K121S的选育   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
1997年在芥菜型油菜(B.juncea)隐性核不育材料05S姊妹交后代中发现具光温敏感特性的不育材料,于1999年育成光温敏核不育系K121S。在昆明(北纬25°01′)自然温光气候条件下,K121S表现稳定的夏播不育,秋播可育。不育期间不育株率及不育度均可达100%,可育期间自交结实率可达到70%以上。K121S育性主要受温度影响,日最低气温<10℃,日照长度<12h可育;日最低气温>10℃,日照长度>12h不育。K121S恢复源广泛,可利用于两系育种及生产。  相似文献

Development of leaf spot resistant mustard cultivars is a relevant objective in view of heavy crop losses caused by this pathogen. Thirty-eight species belonging to 9 genera, including cultivated and wild allies, of the genus Brassica were evaluated under epiphytotic conditions for two years. Inoculations were done on whole plants (in vivo) and on detached leaves (in vitro). Data on incubation period, number of lesions per leaf, lesion size and leaf area covered by lesions were recorded. Species which never produced disease symptoms throughout the growing period in pots and until 72 hours after inoculation in detached leaf assays during both years were treated as resistant, while those that produced symptoms were classified as moderately resistant, susceptible or highly susceptible depending upon incubation period, size of lesions and leaf area covered by disease symptoms. Eight species (Brassica desnottesii, Camelina sativa, Coincya pseuderucastrum, Diplotaxis berthautii, D. catholica, D. cretacea, D. erucoides, and Erucastrum gallicum) were found completely resistant, whereas others were classified as moderately resistant (12), susceptible (11) or highly susceptible (9). Since resistance is unavailable within the cultivated species, these 8 resistant wild species could be used as donor parents for introgressing resistance to leaf spot disease in Indian mustard. 为探明阿维菌素在十字花科蔬菜芥蓝、叶芥菜和芜菁中的残留消解行为和安全性,建立了高效液相色谱测定3种蔬菜中阿维菌素残留量的分析方法。样品经丙酮提取,C18柱净化,高效液相色谱-紫外检测器检测,外标法定量;运用所建立的方法对阿维菌素在山东烟台、河北保定、浙江绍兴、贵州贵阳、黑龙江哈尔滨和安徽宿州6个试验点的芥蓝、叶芥菜、芜菁中的残留消解动态和最终残留量进行了研究。结果表明:阿维菌素在芥蓝、叶芥菜和芜菁中的消解速率很快,半衰期分别为0.3~0.6、2.2~3.1和0.8~1.0 d,其残留量随时间延长而递减,符合一级反应动力学方程,属易消解型农药。  相似文献

Abstract

Lipaphis erysimi Kaltenbach is one of the economically important pests of Indian mustard Brassica juncea. Plant defense against these pests include impairing digestive processes in the insect gut. Thus, for an effective pest management, it is imperative to understand the digestive enzymes present in the pest. The present study involves the characterization of mustard aphid α-amylase and the efficacy of a potent insecticidal agent, RiD (Rorippa indica defensin) against it. The total protein of L. erysimi was analysed to determine the α-amylase activity present in it. The relative α-amylase activity in the total protein was assayed by the dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) procedure, using 1% soluble starch as substrate and was observed to be 2.32?±?0.025?U/mL of the total protein. The optimum temperature for α-amylase activity was found to be 35?°C and optimum pH was recorded as 6.5. Presence of RiD showed a decrease in the α-amylase activity in a non-competitive way. Moreover, cryo-sections of the aphid midgut also revealed bound RiD in the confocal analysis.  相似文献
