The aim of the present investigation was to study the genetic relationships between pelt quality traits (shade of fleece, size of curl, score for fleece colour, score for curl, score for quality of hair, score for thickness of fleece, sum of pelt scores, and overall score) on one hand and maternal ability, live weight, and carcass traits on the other hand for the Gotland sheep breed. Data were received from the Swedish Sheep Recording Scheme and included observations on 4-month weight (4MW) and pelt quality for 51,402 lambs and on weight (CW), fatness (FAT), and fleshiness (FLESH) of the carcass for 12,440 lambs. The lambs were born during the period 1991–2003. When maternal genetic and permanent environmental effects were included in the model direct heritabilities for the pelt quality traits varied between 0.16 and 0.25. Maternal heritabilities (0.01 to 0.05) and common environmental variances as a fraction of the total phenotypic variances (0.07 to 0.10) were low. Maternal heritabilities were higher for 4MW (0.11) and CW (0.12) than for the pelt quality traits. Direct-maternal genetic correlations were both for the pelt quality traits and for 4MW and CW generally negative and low to medium high. Direct genetic correlations between pelt quality traits on one hand and 4MW, CW, FAT or FLESH on the other hand were low (− 0.16 to 0.12). Maternal genetic correlations between pelt quality traits and 4MW or CW were positive and high (0.38 to 0.96). It was concluded that breeding for increased growth and improved carcass quality would not influence pelt quality negatively or vice versa. If maternal genetic effects are considered for 4MW and CW in the breeding program for the Gotland sheep breed, selection for maternal effects on 4MW and CW will have positive effects both on lamb weight and pelt quality.  相似文献

为了研究家蚕茧层量性状的分子调控机制,采用蛋白质双向电泳和图像分析技术,分析了遗传背景基本相同,而结茧性状和茧层量具有明显差异的正常茧、薄皮茧、裸蛹3个家蚕品种的丝腺细胞和血液组织的蛋白质表达与茧层量的关系。结果表明:裸蛹品种的丝腺细胞蛋白斑点与正常茧品种的蛋白斑点的匹配率仅在65%左右,且存在35%左右的特异蛋白斑点,暗示裸蛹性状可能是主效基因控制的微效多基因遗传;3个品种后部丝腺细胞特异蛋白斑点、匹配蛋白斑点按等电点划分的分布规律具有明显差异,而血液组织相应的分布规律非常相似,暗示丝腺细胞中的蛋白及其基因对家蚕茧层量性状的作用要大于血液组织中的蛋白及其基因;正常茧、薄皮茧和裸蛹3个品种后部丝腺细胞中特异蛋白斑点及上调和下调蛋白斑点中,可能分别存在着与家蚕高茧层量性状、结薄皮茧性状以及不结茧性状有关的蛋白质。  相似文献

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different levels of black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa L.) on performance, intestinal Escherichia coli count and morphology of jejunal epithelial cells in laying hens. A total of 100 Leghorn laying hens (Hy‐Line W‐36) of 49 weeks old were randomly distributed among five cage replicates of five birds each. Experimental diets consisted of different levels (0%, 1%, 2% and 3% of diet) of dietary black cumin inclusion. The experimental period lasted for a total of 10 weeks, and egg quality indexes and laying hens' performance were measured as two 35‐day trial periods. At the final day, two hens per replicate were slaughtered to investigate the influence of dietary treatments on intestinal E. coli colonization and morphology of jejunal cells. Although dietary black cumin in all supplementation levels decreased (p < 0.05) the enumeration of ileal E. coli, the morphological and histological alterations in small intestine such as enhancement of villus height to crypt depth ratio, increased goblet cell numbers and proliferation of lamina propria lymphatic follicles were observed after dietary supplementation with at least 2% black cumin. Dietary treatments decreased (p < 0.05) the concentration of serum cholesterol and triglycerides and increased (p < 0.05) serum HDL concentration and relative weight of pancreas; however, the egg yolk cholesterol was not influenced by dietary treatments. In addition, dietary supplementation with black cumin improved (p < 0.05) eggshell quality and Haugh unit. The best feed conversion ratio was obtained when diets were supplemented with 2% black cumin. This improvement was due to the increase (p < 0.05) in egg mass and contemporaneous decrease (p < 0.01) in feed consumption. The present results indicated that regardless of supplementation level, dietary inclusion of black cumin decreased E. coli enumeration in ileal digesta and improved serum lipid profile and eggshell quality, whereas the best intestinal health indices and haying hens' performance were obtained by at least 2% black cumin seeds.  相似文献

对18~24月龄鄱阳湖、峡江和信丰山地3个江西地方品种水牛各3头,进行肉用性能和牛肉主要营养养分的测定分析。结果表明,水牛肌肉肉色符合标准,且无PSE肉、DFD肉产生,符合优质肉牛标准;鄱阳湖水牛的胴体重、净肉重、胴体产肉率、Fe含量、Zn含量较高,显著高于信丰山地水牛(P<0.05);鄱阳湖水牛18种氨基酸含量除酪氨酸外均高于其它2个地方品种,其中天门冬氨酸、谷氨酸、丝氨酸、脯氨酸、丙氨酸、亮氨酸及胱氨酸含量显著高于信丰山地水牛(P<0.05),鲜味氨基酸、甜鲜味氨基酸含量显著高于信丰山地水牛(P<0.05);牛肉脂肪酸中花生酸含量在品种间存在显著差异(P<0.05),而其它各种脂肪酸含量、硬脂肪酸总含量和不饱和脂肪总含量在品种间均无显著差异(P>0.05)。  相似文献

Mink feed raw materials were analyzed for total bacterial count, the number of faecal streptococci, the coliform count, the number of haemolytic bacteria and the number of sulphite reducing bacteria. The investigation comprised samples from the following raw materials: four slaughter-house offal products, preserved and unpreserved slaughter blood, Baltic herring, cod filletting offal, fish silage, blood meal, fish meal, meat-bone meal, protein concentrate, brewer’s yeast and cereal feed.The slaughter-house offals and unpreserved slaughter blood had the poorest quality, in terms of all the bacterial types for which the samples were analyzed. There were statistically significant differences in bacterial contents between slaughter-house offals from different sources. The preserved slaughter blood had significantly lower bacterial contents as compared to the unpreserved slaughter blood. Single samples of the cod filletting offal, Baltic herring and the blood meal had relatively high total bacterial counts, but the specified mean bacterial counts were relatively low. The bacterial counts for the rest of the investigated raw materials were relatively low.  相似文献

本试验旨在研究多花黑麦草与紫花苜蓿不同比例混合青贮对其发酵品质和体外消化率的影响,以期筛选出二者适宜的混合青贮比例。采用完全随机设计,试验分为4组,分别将多花黑麦草与紫花苜蓿的混合比例设定为100∶0(对照组)、85∶15(A1组)、70∶30(A2组)、55∶45(A3组)(鲜重基础),每组5个重复。青贮发酵42 d后全部开封取样,测定其发酵品质和体外消化率。结果表明:1)随着紫花苜蓿比例升高,干物质回收率逐渐升高,A3组显著高于对照组、A1组(P<0.05); A2和A3组pH显著高于对照组和A1组(P <0. 05);随着紫花苜蓿比例的升高,乳酸含量逐渐降低,A3组显著低于对照组(P<0.05); A2和A3组氨态氮/总氮显著低于对照组(P<0.05);各组V-score评分较高(>90),具有优质的发酵品质。2) A1、A2和A3组粗蛋白质含量显著高于对照组(P<0.05); A2和A3组粗灰分含量显著高于A1和对照组(P<0.05)。与对照组相比,A3组粗蛋白质体外消化率、干物质体外消化率和中性洗涤纤维体外消化率显著提高(P<0.05)。由此可见,提高多花黑麦草和紫花苜蓿混合青贮饲料中紫花苜蓿的比例不仅未影响发酵品质,而且还提高了青贮饲料的营养价值和体外消化率。从发酵品质和营养价值综合考虑,建议多花黑麦草和紫花苜蓿以55∶45比例混合青贮较为适宜。  相似文献
