据北京室内饲养观察,环斑猛猎蝽一年发生一代,以4龄若虫越冬。卵期9.9±1.1d。若虫共5龄,历期315.0±4.9d。成虫羽化后7-25d交配,交配后22-23d开始产卵。描述了各虫态形态特征。记述了生物学特性。试验表明该虫是杨扇舟蛾、黄刺蛾、杨叶蜂、舞毒蛾、油松毛虫、黄褐天幕毛虫、刺槐蚜等多种林木害虫的捕食性天敌。  相似文献

Predation is a major ecological constraint shaping behaviour and communication in animals. Several fish species are known to modify their foraging, agonistic and reproductive behaviour in the presence of predators. However, close to nothing is known about how predators affect sound production in fishes. This paper reviews how vocal fish increase their chance of survival by modifying intraspecific acoustic communication and by producing sounds directed towards predators. Field studies showed that toadfish, drums and squirrelfish reduced the number and loudness of calls when dolphin sounds were played back. These studies lack behavioural observations, leaving the question open how individual fish respond to predation threat. Croaking gouramis (Trichopsis vittata, Osphronemidae) reduced acoustic and visual signalling during dyadic contests and refrained from escalated behaviour when detecting a predator in an adjacent tank. This indicates that gouramis increase their vigilance by reducing agonistic behaviour. Vocal fish have been observed to emit sounds when predators approach or when being caught. However, none of the predators (or even conspecifics nearby) responded to these calls. Therefore, the term “predator-related” sound has been introduced in this paper to avoid implying unproven functions (alarm, startling, warning, distress and disturbance). Interestingly, the readiness of numerous taxa (e.g. catfishes) to vocalize when hand-held or netted was frequently exploited to investigate sound production in fish in relation to weight, sex, sonic organs, temperature or phylogeny. Increasing levels of noise in aquatic habitats call for more research on predator–prey interactions because of potential negative effects on detection of sounds produced by predators or prey.  相似文献

以‘红阳’猕猴桃果实为试材,研究低温预贮[(5±1)℃3d]对‘红阳’猕猴桃果实冷害及转录因子CBF(C-repeat binding factor)表达的影响。结果表明,低温预贮处理可以有效地降低‘红阳’猕猴桃果实冷害率和冷害指数,显著减少膜脂过氧化产物丙二醛(MDA)的积累和抑制脂氧合酶(LOX)活性的增加,有效地抑制果实呼吸速率和乙烯释放速率,保持较高的过氧化物酶(POD)活性,降低多酚氧化酶(PPO)活性,促进CBF转录因子的表达,在贮藏末期失水较少,保持较高的好果率。可见,低温预贮处理可以减轻‘红阳’猕猴桃果实在低温贮藏过程中的冷害发生,促进CBF转录因子的表达,对控制‘红阳’猕猴桃果实冷害有较好的作用。  相似文献

Instrumental learning plays an important role in dog–human interactions. The recent demand for pet dog training has resulted in the development of various training methods. The present exploratory study aims to compare the effects of 2 training methods on both the behavioral welfare of the dog and the dog–owner relationship: the first method is based on positive reinforcement (appearance of an appetitive stimulus), whereas the second method is based on negative reinforcement (disappearance of an aversive stimulus). The study compared behaviors linked to signs of stress and attentive behaviors toward the owner in 2 dog training schools, which used different methods. Walking on-leash activity and obeying the “sit” command were studied. The results show that dogs from the school using a negative reinforcement–based method demonstrated lowered body postures and signals of stress, whereas dogs from the school using a positive reinforcement–based method showed increased attentiveness toward their owner. However, neither method affected avoidance behaviors. This exploratory study reveals the differential effects of the 2 training methods on dogs' behaviors; it suggests that training methods based on positive reinforcement are less stressful and potentially better for their welfare.  相似文献

  1. Invasive species threaten the conservation of marine environments, and urgent management strategies are needed to prevent their introduction, establishment and spread. Specifically, marine invasive predators destabilize ecological interactions and alter community structure and function. However, most of the evidence showing the effect of these predators is restricted to a few species and regions, while for others the information remains scarce.
  2. This study experimentally evaluated the ecological effects of the sea slug Pleurobranchaea maculata, a recently introduced invasive predator, on the fouling communities of a cold-temperate port in the South-western Atlantic.
  3. The results show that increasing predation pressure reduces significantly the abundance of sea anemones, which are among the preferred prey items.
  4. This study reveals new evidence to help better understand the effects of P. maculata on the biological communities of a recently invaded region. Furthermore, it provides the first experimental evidence supporting the hypothesis that marine invasive predators can induce a significant decrease in the abundance of native species in benthic communities of cold-temperate marine environments in the South-western Atlantic.

Silver nanoparticles (AgNP) are used in a broad range of consumer products and industrial applications. During the regular product life cycle and disposal, AgNP are continuously released into the environment. Hence, the aim of this study was to investigate the potential ecotoxicological effects of AgNP exposure on amoebae. The Acanthamoeba castellanii ATCC 30234 strain and environmental isolate Acanthamoeba strain C5/2, which are both affiliated with genotype T4, were chosen as representatives of ecologically important soil protozoan organisms. The amoebae were exposed to citrate‐stabilized AgNP (30 and 70 nm in size) for 24 h and 96 h at concentrations ranging from 600 µg L−1 to 20 mg L−1. A newly adopted cell culture based microscopic assay was applied to assess the adherence ability of the amoeba trophozoites. The general metabolic activity of Acanthamoeba was determined to be a second independent endpoint by means of intracellular reduction of the redox dye AlamarBlue®. The fate of AgNP within the amoebae and test solutions was visualized by light‐ and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Both Acanthamoeba strains showed a significant dose‐dependent decrease of adherence ability (p  < 0.04) and metabolic activity (p < 0.01) after 96 h of AgNP exposure. The environmental Acanthamoeba strain C5/2 lost both its adherence ability and metabolic activity at lower AgNP concentrations than the type strain, indicating a higher sensitivity to ionic silver. This was confirmed by the application of AgNO3, provoking a higher effect level in strain C5/2. AgNP was visualized intracellularly by transmission electron microscopy within the cytoplasm of Acanthamoeba . This is the first report to show the ecotoxicological effects of short‐term AgNP exposure on the soil protist Acanthamoeba , causing both changes in the adherence ability and metabolic activity of this amoeba. This combined approach may be a powerful tool in the future for predicting potential harmful ecotoxicological effects of AgNP exposure using soil protozoans.  相似文献

为了弄清楚在水蒸汽流入流出过程中室内装饰材料对环境湿度的调节规律及定量评价室内装饰材料的环境湿度调节性能 ,本研究在环境温度为 2 6℃时 ,测定了在水蒸汽流入流出过程中木质及非木质材料装饰的试验体内环境湿度的经时变化情况 ,并定义了x和y两个物理量来表征材料对环境湿度的调节性能 ,研究结果表明 :用x和y值能够将各种室内装饰材料按调湿性能分成 4个组别 ;木材及木质材料类具有较好的环境湿度调节性能 ,即这些材料能够缓和室内环境湿度的急骤变化 ;木质材料的x和 y值随A/V的增大呈曲线下降趋势 ;在本实验设定的循环过程中 ,材料厚度对其调湿性能影响不显著。  相似文献

为解决颗粒饲料在制粒过程中调质温度依赖人工辅助控制问题,该研究设计了基于PID控制算法的调质温度控制系统。采用开环阶跃响应法建立电动比例调节阀与调质温度之间的控制模型。为了得到最优的PID控制参数(比例系数Kp、积分系数Ti、微分系数Td),通过Simulink仿真试验对比了Ziegler-Nichols整定法、衰减曲线法和临界比例度法的PID响应曲线,确定PID最优控制参数为Kp=52.7,Ti=6.4,Td=1.6。对小型制粒机调质温度控制系统进行试验,选用哺乳母猪配合粉料,调质温度分别设定为75、80和85℃,稳定后的调质温度均能维持在设定范围内;选取调质温度为80℃进行稳定性试验,每1 min记录调质温度,整个试验过程中调质温度基本稳定在(80±1)℃范围内,调质温度平均相对误差小于1%,调质温度变异系数小于0.5%,系统温度控制稳定,可自动采集制粒生产数据,实现了制粒过程中调质温度的快速响应和实时控制。研究结果可为颗粒饲料制粒机的自动化控制提供参...  相似文献

The decline of rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) populations in Mediterranean Spain has been shown to be one of the main threats to rabbit-specialist predators such as the Iberian lynx (Lynx pardina) and the Spanish imperial eagle (Aquila adalberti), two species which are in serious danger of extinction. Consequently, corrective measures such as increasing rabbit populations by restocking have been carried out to help the recovery of predator populations. In order to determine the general applicability of rabbit restocking for predator conservation, we performed three experimental restockings and evaluated their success in relation to season, habitat quality and the number of animals introduced. Rabbits were released either in large or small numbers in all four seasons of the year, and in habitat types defined as `poor' or `rich' according to the food availability for rabbits. For each restocking we evaluated rabbit survival, degree of residency and expected population increase. As a rule, the highest restocking success occurred whenever smaller number of rabbits were released in the richest quality habitat. Restocking during the breeding season was less successful than in other seasons. Problems concerning intraspecific competition, reproductive failure and diseases are discussed.  相似文献
