运用相关及回归分析方法,研究了20个早熟玉米品种主要农艺性状与产量之间的关系,并利用回归方程估测备性状值的变化对产量的影响。结果表明,行粒数与产量关系最为密切,其次是株高、穗长。穗粗、穗位高、穗行数、千粒重对单产的提高效果不大。  相似文献

The important enzyme in nitrogen (N) assimilation, nitrate reductase (NR), is an inducible enzyme influenced by many external (light, temperature, etc.) and internal (genotype) factors. The efficiency of the N assimilation system may vary with genotype and season. In the present study, the effects of season on NR activity in relation to N accumulation in maize plants were investigated. Six different cultivars of maize, namely Ganga-11, Deccan-103, Hi-starch (hybrids), Arun, Manjari and Vijay (composites), were sown during the monsoon (88-day crop duration) and in winter (150-day crop duration). In vivo NR activity in the last fully expanded leaf (LFEL), and the N contents of the whole plant and the LFEL were estimated at seven phenological growth stages. Three different states of N metabolism in maize, namely (i) low NR activity per unit leaf area per unit time coinciding with high accumulation of N, (ii) high NR activity coinciding with low N accumulation, and (iii) low NR activity coinciding with low N accumulation, were noted. These results clearly demonstrate that the relationships between N uptake and accumulation parameters change with the season and crop growth stage and are subject to a genotypic influence. Thus it is necessary to evaluate genotypes under similar environments to select a genotype with high N use efficiency. As these relationships are growth dependent, care must be taken to evaluate them at a particular phenological stage rather than on the basis of days after sowing.  相似文献

Influence of erosion on productivity of maize ( Zea mays L.) cultivation
Accelerated erosion was monitored in Eastern Schleswig-Holstein (F.R.G.) during the last decades. The objective of this study was to compare agricultural productivity of upper, middle and base slope segments to the respective soil parameters, reflecting results of long-term erosion.
Five soil catenas were surveyed. Each catena was divided into three segments representing an eroded area (upper segment), an area with an equilibrium between erosion, accumulation and soil development (middle segment) and an area with accumulation (base slope segment).
In 1986 soil qualities, growth characters and yield components of maize were analysed for each slope segment. At eroded slope segments vegetation cover and yield were significantly lower than at middle and base slope segments. Middle slope segments (equilibrium between erosion, accumulation and soil development) snowed balanced soil quality parameters and high maize yields with a desired combination of yield components.  相似文献

Resin extraction of soil permits evaluation of ratios of readily extracted elements and correlation of concentrations obtained with crop yield. This information provides guidance on potential genotype selection and fertility management. Two hybrids of maize ( Zea mays L.), designated 2292 and 3895, were grown annually in rotational succession on a 3.2-ha site with soybean ( Glycine max L.) and wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.). Soil samples (0–15 cm) were extracted with ion-exchange resins and extracts were analysed with inductively coupled plasma. Data were regressed against crop yield using stepwise multiple correlation methods. Each hybrid was sensitive to unique combinations of extracted chemistries. Both hybrids of maize were sensitive to the resin-extractable V : (V + P) molar ratio and potential losses of ≥ 20 % were indicated as the ratio approached 0.2. A positive response to the Mg : (Mg + Ca) resin-extractable ratio was noted for maize hybrid 2292 in each of three successive years. Changes of yield potentials associated with the Mg : (Mg + Ca) ratio for hybrid 2292 ranged from none to ≥ 20 % as the ratio ranged from 0.2 to about 0.8. The results indicate that, in the presence of large extractable concentrations of competing or inhibitory ions, different approaches to nutrient management in the form of fertilizer nutrient analysis, application, and genotype selection are needed to overcome effects of competing ions.  相似文献

The changes in the amounts of dry matter, total nitrogen and methionine during maturation of normal maize hybrids grown under the same topographical and agrotechnical conditions on two consecutive vegetation years were examined.
Total nitrogen was determined by Kjeldahl's method and methionine spectrophotometrically from papain hydrolysate by the method of McCarthy and Sullivan. Analysis of variance was applied to assess the significance of the changes in particular components during grain maturation.
A significant increase (p = 0.01) in amounts of the all investigated components in original grain matter up until a late stage of dough maturity in both vegetation years was determined. The increase was mostly expressed by the end of milky maturity. The correlation between these components during maturation is positive and highly significant (p = 0.001). The methionine content in dry matter attained in stage of milky maturation the value being characteristic for mature grain. On a total-proteins basis, the methionine content is significantly the least (p = 0.01) at the early stage of milky maturation and increases up until dough maturity reaching a value that does not significantly differ from the value in full maturity of grain.  相似文献

A proportion of the maize seed sold in the Netherlands is genetically impure. The most common form of genetic impurity in hybrid seed production is the accidental self-pollination of the female parent. Varying quantities of selfed seeds were added to certified seedlots of three-way cross hybrids. These mixtures were tested in nine field experiments, in 1985 and 1986.
Whole plant dry matter yield decreased by 40 to 45 kg/ha per percent of selfed seed added. The effect of selfed seed on dry matter yield did not differ significantly in the hybrids studied.  相似文献

A field experiment was carried out during the growing seasons 1982, 1983 and 1984 to evaluate the reaction of different maize hybrids and lines to smut disease and to give further informations on the effect of environmental factors on smut incidence.
The kernels of 17 different maize hybrids and 17 inbred line were planted in the field and the stand was maintained constant of 30 plants per row during the respective years. Each plant was subjected to an artificial infection by dropping 2 ml of U. maydis -spore suspension into the leaf whorl at 6–8 leaf stage. Field observations, concerning the number, the size and location of smut galls were recorded for each individual plant whenever the symptoms appeared. The reaction of maize genotypes was evaluated on a new classified system and the differential response was correlated with the changes ol meteorological data.
The results indicated that hybrids: Circe LG9, E1, Kaceplns, Limac-LG11 and RA 94A x RA 320 as well as lines: F2, L1, L2, L8, RA 94A, RA 320, W33 and W401 were highly resistant; while the hybrids E2, F7 x EP1.J and Giga as well as lines: EP1J, F115, L5 and L6 were highly susceptible. The reaction of these genotypes exhibited an identical behaviour during the 3 years. The remaining genotypes were unstable and showed differential response to degree of infection and location of smut galls. The increase of smut infection in 1982 relative to that recorded in 1984, under the same wet weather conditions, was attributed to the increase of air temperature and sunshine duration. Under dry weather condition, as in 1983, increasing temperature and sunshine duration had little effect on smut incidence.  相似文献

 玉米弯孢叶斑病是一种世界性玉米病害,也是中国玉米产区的主要病害之一。20多年来,国内外在该病害发生规律、致病性分化与诱导抗性机理、生物防治技术等方面开展了深入研究。本文主要就该病害优势致病菌新月弯孢菌 [Curvularia lunata (Wakker)Boedijn]的生物学特性、致病因子与生理分化机理、毒素结构鉴定、毒素合成与调控、诱导抗病性分子机理等方面的研究进展进行综述,以期对玉米弯孢叶斑病防控技术的创新提供参考。  相似文献
