本试验在湿热条件下,探究饲喂不同物理形态的开食料对犊牛生长发育、瘤胃发酵及血液指标的影响。试验采用36头荷斯坦母犊牛,随机分为3组(每组12头),分别自由采食颗粒状开食料(PSA)、粉末状开食料(PSB)和多颗粒状开食料(TS)。试验期63 d,其中1~42日龄为正常饲喂牛奶时期(断奶前期);43~49日龄为断奶期;50~63日龄为断奶后期。开食料从犊牛5日龄开始自由采食。在1、42、49以及63日龄晨饲前进行采血和称重,49和63日龄晨饲前胃管法采集瘤胃液。试验期间每天记录采食量和温湿度指数。结果表明,在湿热环境下:1)断奶期和断奶后2周TS组开食料干物质采食量、平均日增重和重料比高于PSA和PSB组,PSB组最低,但差异不显著(P0.05)。2)TS组犊牛初次反刍时间较PSA组提前3.8日龄,较PSB组提前4.7日龄,差异均显著(P0.05)。63日龄时,TS组瘤胃液氨氮含量显著低于PSA组(P0.05)。3)42日龄时PSA组犊牛血液免疫球蛋白G含量显著高于TS组(P0.05)。4)TS组犊牛初始腹泻时间较PSA和PSB组分别晚0.44和1.75日龄,但无统计学差异(P0.05),TS组腹泻率最低。综合得出,湿热环境下,多颗粒状开食料较颗粒状开食料和粉末状开食料更能促进犊牛的生长发育,使犊牛尽早产生反刍行为,从而加快瘤胃功能的完善 相似文献

Microflora were investigated in traditional starter cultures for fermented milk, hurunge, which are used for fermented dairy products by nomadic families in the Inner Mongolia Autonomic Region, China. The acid‐forming bacteria and yeast counts ranged from 1.8 × 105 to 5.3 × 108 c.f.u./g and from 6.1 × 105 to 3.2 × 106 c.f.u./g, respectively. Sixty‐six strains of lactic acid bacteria and 30 strains of yeasts were isolated and identified from three hurunge samples collected from the nomadic families. Lactococcus raffinolactis was the most predominant lactococci isolated from these samples. The other lactococci were Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis, Lactococcus lactis ssp. cremoris, and Leuconostoc mesenteroides ssp. cremoris. Two major lactobacilli strains, Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus casei, were identified. In addition, Lactobacillus kefiranofaciens, Lactobacillus acetotolerans, which grew in 11% acetic acid culture medium, and Lactobacillus homohiochii, which grew in the culture medium containing 16% ethanol, were also identified. 试验旨在研究开食料类型对荷斯坦哺乳犊牛生长发育和瘤胃发酵参数的影响。选取30头刚出生的中国荷斯坦母犊牛,按照体重进行划分区组,随机分配到3个处理组中,各组分别饲喂颗粒状开食料、粉状开食料和口感化开食料。试验共80 d,其中1~50 d为哺乳期,按照正常程序饲喂常乳+自由采食开食料;51~60 d为过渡期,减少常乳饲喂量+自由采食开食料;61~80 d为断奶后期,自由采食开食料。犊牛从出生第7天开始饲喂开食料。每天记录开食料采食量,分别于试验第1天、第50天、第60天和第80天在早晨饲喂前称重犊牛体重,分别于第50天、第60天和第80天在犊牛采食开食料2 h后采集瘤胃液,测定挥发性脂肪酸浓度和NH3-N浓度。试验结果表明,不同物理形态的开食料对犊牛的体重、平均日增重和开食料采食量具有显著影响。给犊牛饲喂口感化开食料和颗粒状开食料显著增加了干物质采食量和平均日增重,以口感化开食料的饲喂效果最佳。给犊牛饲喂不同物理形态的开食料,对瘤胃pH值、乙酸、丙酸和丁酸浓度无显著影响,但是对瘤胃液氨氮浓度和总挥发性脂肪酸浓度具有显著影响。饲喂口感化开食料和颗粒状开食料显著降低了瘤胃液氨氮浓度,增加了瘤胃液总挥发性脂肪酸浓度。因此,在犊牛开食料的选择上,给犊牛饲喂口感化开食料可以提高犊牛生长性能,改善瘤胃发酵功能。 相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate butyrate supplementation of antibiotic‐free milk replacer and starter on growth performance in male Holstein calves. Twenty‐nine calves were divided into two groups. Group C (n = 13) was fed antibiotic‐free milk replacer without supplementation, and Group B (n = 16) was fed antibiotic‐free milk replacer supplemented with butyrate (1.6 % DM of Gustor BP70®). Starter in Group B contained 0.3 % DM of Gustor BP70®. The intake of milk replacer was lower in group B than in C (p = 0.07 for the treatment x week interaction). Body weight (BW) and heart girth (HG) in group B was higher than in C during the experimental period (p = 0.07 and 0.01 for the treatment × week interaction, respectively). The duration of the weaning period in group B was shorter than in group C (p = 0.02). β‐hydroxybutyrate (BHBA) was higher in group B than in C (p = 0.04). Insulin like growth factor‐1 (IGF‐1) concentrations tended to be higher in group B than in C (p = 0.07 for treatment × week interaction). Our results show that butyrate supplementation in antibiotic‐free milk replacer and starter exerted positive effects on growth performance in suckling calves. 相似文献

Examination of nasopharyngeal secretion and organ material from clinical cases of respiratory diseases in horses, using inoculation of embryonated hen eggs and rabbit and horse kidney cell cultures, resulted in the isolation of influenza virus and herpes virus. In 2 cases, both viruses were present in the same specimen.On the basis of the physio-chemical, cytological and serological criteria, the viruses were found to be identical with influenza virus type A equi 2 and herpes virus equi type 1.The methods for serological diagnosis and characterization of the influenza and herpes viruses are discussed. Detailed serological examinations of blood specimens from the clinical cases confirmed the aetiological significance of the isolates and the presence of mixed infections.Further characterization of a strain of influenza virus was carried out by inoculation experiments on horses. These included reproduction of clinical influenza, reisolation of the strain in casu and a study of the antibody formation. 相似文献

The primary objective was to test the hypothesis that flavonoids mediate immune response and affect calf performance. Twenty Holstein calves [7 ± 2 days age; 41.4 ± 0.7 kg body weight (BW)] were randomly assigned to four treatments of (i) no; (ii) low (7.3 × 10−5 g/kg BW); (iii) medium (7.3 × 10−4 g/kg BW); and (iv) high (3.6 × 10−3 g/kg BW) doses of flavonoids intake in a completely randomized design. Calves received the treatments as a tablet until weaning or a daily intake of 680 g starter. After weaning, calves received no supplemental flavonoids and monitored until 120 days of age. The flavonoids were extracted from propolis. Treatments did not affect body length, wither height and the severity of scours. At week 5 of age, BW was higher when calves fed the high compared to the low dose of flavonoids. At week 6, calves fed the high dose of flavonoids had higher BW than those fed no or low doses of flavonoids. The serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) concentrations remained lower at the first 3 weeks of the experiment when calves received the low but not the high doses of flavonoids. At week 4, both medium and low doses of flavonoids moderated serum IgG. At week 8, the medium and high but not the low doses of flavonoids lowered serum IgG. At week 6, calves fed high and medium flavonoids doses had lower blood immunoglobulin M (IgM) than control calves. Results suggest that flavonoids affect the humoral immune response and can improve growth in young calves. This response depended on calf age. Future studies are needed to further evaluate the premise that dietary forages or the main source of flavonoids are helpful for a less stressful weaning in the modern calf raising. 相似文献
