A FINITE ELEMENT ALGORITHM FOR PARALLEL PROCESSING OF MULTI-FRONTS

In this paper,a new algorithm for solving large-scale finite element system is presented, which utilizes the architecture of parallel processing. Firstly, the structure is partitioned into sub-regions. Then multi-fronts are used to assemble and eliminate concurrently in every sub-region. Thus the condensed interface stiffness matrices and load vectors are obtained. By serially assembling and solving global equation to get interface displacements and backing to every sub-region, the inter-nodal displacements and element stresses can be solved. The results of computation show that it can not only increase the speed of computation,but also save the memory space of computer effectively. This algorithm is an effective method for solving large-scale structural finite element systems.     

A Caculation Method of Portfolio Investment under the Risk Mininiz

According to the security investment theory of Markowitz,this paper presents aCaculation method of portfolio investment under the risk minimization,and some mathematic expres-sions of the efficient frontier for portfolio investment are conducted.Based on these,the efficientfrontier is proved as a parabola,and a practical caculation process is given.     

Calculating the Hollowing-center Grounding Device Resistance Based on the Surface Charge Simulation Method

An equivalent model for hollowing-center grounding device is proposed, the hollowing-center grounding device resistance is calculated with the surface charge simulation method and the computer programme is programmed based on this model. The accuracy of the model and method is validated by experimentation.     

Maximizing Deviation Method on Comprehensive Evaluation of Commercial Bank''s Internal Control

This paper analyzes the questions that are likely to exist in comprehensive evaluation of commercial bank's internal control.On the basis of the analysis,the valuation indexes are divided into two levels.And maximizing deviation method,is introduced to get a evaluation method that can evaluate commercial bank's internal control more impersonally and more impartially.     

Optimization of Energy Dissipation Braces in Frame Structures

In this paper, the complex method of the nonlinear programming is used to optimize the parameters of energy dissipation bracing in energy dissipation braced frame. This method is realized with computer program and proved to be efficient. A 6-story reinforced concrete frame is used as a demonstrative example.     

Analysis on Longitudinal Cracks and Deflection of the Pre-stressed V-shape Slab Roof Structure

In this paper, the finite element method is used to analyze the behavior of the prestressed V-shape Slab Roof structure, especially the effect of temperature change on the stress of slab. The calculated results indicate that when the temperature changes, the tensile stress at the lower extreme fibers of the flange plate near rib exceeds the tensile strength of concrete subjected to the combined action of triaxial stresses and results in the longitudinal cracks of the flange plate. The deflection analysis is based on the mechanical model of the prestressed V shape slab with the longitudinal cracks. The calculated results are in general agreement with the field observations.     

Stability Analysis on Excavated High Slope of Mozong River Power Station in Wulong

The subject matter of this paper is to analyze the stability of excavated high slope. On the base of typical engineering case in Wulong, Chongqing, the geological conditions and potential failure pattern of the high slope are discussed. Then, the limit equilibrium method and the stereographic projection method are used to synthetically analyze the stability of excavated high slope. As a result, it indicates that the stability of the high slope in insufficient and some retaining structures ought to be adopted for the high slope as soon as possible.
