- 1. Crunoecia irrorata is widely dispersed across Europe, but rare and red‐listed in Finland. Its geographical range comprises most of the southern boreal zone in Fennoscandia. The species is confined to springs in the north, but occurs also in lower reaches of headwater streams in central and western Europe. It becomes more rare and less abundant towards the limits of its range across Europe, showing diffusive rarity. Glacial history and climate limit the distribution of the species in the north.
- 2. The most important habitat characteristic for C. irrorata in Finland was the total area of helocrene habitats. Its occurrence was positively related to taxon richness of benthic macroinvertebrates, but not bryophytes. Co‐occurrence of C. irrorata with other red‐listed spring‐dependent taxa was observed, indicating high conservation value of the springs occupied.
- 3. Crunoecia irrorata occurred frequently in moderately disturbed springs, indicating tolerance to human disturbance around springs. However, the effect of the disturbance on population size is not known. Forestry and water and gravel extraction are potential threats to C. irrorata, and only a few of its populations are strictly protected. Therefore, populations of C. irrorata in the boreal zone should be conserved and monitored to ensure the species' survival at the northern limits of its range.

Two feeding trials were conducted to determine the minimum dietary protein level producing maximum growth, and the optimum protein to energy ratio in diets for red porgy (Pagrus pagrus) fingerlings, respectively. In the first trial, six isoenergetic diets were formulated with protein levels ranging from 400 to 650 g kg?1 in increments of 50 g kg?1, and fed for 11 weeks to 2.8 g average initial weight fish. Weight gain, specific growth rate and feed efficiency were significantly higher with diets containing higher protein levels, when compared with dietary levels below 500 g kg?1. The highest protein efficiency ratios were obtained in fish fed 500 g kg?1 dietary protein. The minimum dietary protein level producing maximum fish growth was found to be 500 g kg?1. In the second trial, 15 g average initial weight fish were fed for 12 weeks, six diets containing three different lipid levels (100, 150 and 200 g kg?1) combined with two protein levels (450 and 500 g kg?1). Weight gain values increased when dietary lipids increased from 100 to 150 g kg?1, with a further decrease for 200 g kg?1 lipids in diets; the lowest fish growth being supported by 200 g kg?1 dietary lipids. Fish growth was significantly higher when dietary protein increased from 450 to 500 g kg?1. There was no evidence of a protein‐sparing effect of dietary lipids. Liver protein and lipid contents were low when compared with other fish species. All diet assayed produced high liver glycogen accumulation. Eastern grey squirrels (Sciurus carolinensis) and North American red squirrels (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) were studied among wooded patches within an agricultural mosaic. Fifteen sites south of Ottawa, Canada, with differing landscape and local features were censused using tracking boards placed in a woods or wooded fencerow. Regression analyses of landscape compositional and physiognomic variables within a 1-km radius isolated the best predictors of grey and red squirrel abundance and activity. Grey squirrels were found in both small woods and fencerows in farm landscapes but were not found in large woods. A polynomial regression of wooded patch size explained 79% of the variance in grey squirrel abundance. Grey squirrel activity was correlated with the percent cover of soybeans in the landscape. Red squirrels were found in fencerows, small and large woods; activity was correlated with the percent cover of both woods and corn crop in the surrounding landscape. These results indicate that distributions of both species are influenced by multiple landscape elements, but that grey squirrels may rely on fragmented agricultural landscapes whereas red squirrels make more use of both native woodland and altered landscapes. 相似文献

为研究菠萝蜜果肉类胡萝卜素分析方法、分析呈色组分,本研究基于高效液相色谱法检测果肉中类胡萝卜素组分,通过比较不同色泽果肉中类胡萝卜素物质差异,鉴定呈色组分。结果表明,用含0.01%BHT的正己烷∶丙酮∶无水乙醇(2∶1∶1,V/V/V)作为提取液,结合超声震荡、皂化脱脂等步骤,能有效提取菠萝蜜果肉中总类胡萝卜素。组分分析采用YMC carotenoid column C30(4.6×250 mm)色谱柱,二极管阵列检测器(photodiode array,PDA)在450 nm波长下,检测出16种不同的类胡萝卜素组分。定量结果表明,β-柠乌素是红色果肉的呈色组分,紫黄质是黄肉果肉主要的呈色组分。差异组分之间存在一定的代谢关联,即紫黄质合成前体的裂解反应及下游异构化反应是造成果肉色泽差异的潜在原因。 相似文献

【目的】水稻色素不仅对其自身生长发育有重要生理作用,而且在水稻育种、农副产品改良等方面运用比较广泛。对水稻色素相关基因进行表型分析和基因定位,为进一步研究色素代谢途径及调控机理奠定基础。【方法】利用EMS诱变粳稻长粒粳(CLJ),在突变体库内筛选到一个金黄色颖壳与节间突变体gh881;在成熟期,测定野生型与gh881的主要农艺性状;将gh881与野生型及中恢8015杂交,观察BC1F1及F1植株表型,并对BC1F2及F2表型分离进行卡方检验,对gh881进行遗传分析;利用F2群体和图位克隆的方法对gh881突变基因进行定位;采用q PCR检测颖壳颜色相关基因在gh881与野生型不同发育时期的幼穗、节间以及剑叶叶鞘的相对表达量。【结果】与野生型相比,突变体的颖壳与节间均呈金黄色;除单株有效穗数外,gh881突变体的株高、每穗总粒数及实粒数、结实率和千粒重等性状均极显著降低。遗传分析和基因定位结果表明,gh881的突变表型受1对隐性核基因控制,位于第2染色体短臂,并最终将该基因精细定位于标记FH-13和RH-25之间,物理距离约33.2 kb,该区域中包含4个开放阅读框(ORFs)。【结论】序列分析结果表明,发现其中一个编码肉桂醇脱氢酶(CAD)的基因OsC AD2(Os02g0187800)的3 563 bp处发生了1个单碱基突变(G转换为A),导致该基因编码区的第297位氨基酸由甘氨酸突变为天冬氨酸,由此认为该突变体为OsC AD2基因单碱基突变的新等位基因。q RT-PCR结果表明,突变体的节间中OsCAD2相对表达量极显著下调,而在剑叶叶鞘及穗部则基本都是极显著增加,其他相关基因也发生显著变化,证实OsCAD2是木质素代谢中的重要基因,且可能与其他相关基因存在反馈调节。 相似文献

对番茄组合绿樱(绿果)×金珠1号(橙果)的6个世代遗传群体(P1、P2、F1、BC1、BC2和F2)进行果色性状、番茄红素含量、叶绿素含量和胡萝卜素含量等的遗传规律分析。结果表明:正反交F1的果色性状无明显差异,而色素含量存在显著差异;说明番茄果色性状受核基因控制,而色素含量遗传除受核基因控制外还可能存在胞质效应。采用多世代联合分析法的分析结果表明,番茄绿果与橙果间的果色性状符合2对加性主基因+加性-显性多基因(MX2-A-AD)遗传模型,其BC1、BC2和F2主基因遗传率分别为73.42%、78.25%和61.41%,多基因遗传率分别为22.87%、15.35%和34.94%,即果色性状遗传的主基因遗传力较强;叶绿素含量符合1对负向显性主基因+加性-显性多基因(MX1-AEND-AD)遗传模型,其BC1、BC2和F2主基因遗传率分别为0、1.73%和0.65%,多基因遗传率分别为45.47%、0和37.82%,即主基因遗传力在BC2群体中最高,多基因遗传力在BC1群体中最高;番茄红素含量与胡萝卜素含量均符合2对加性-显性-上位性主基因+加性-显性多基因(MX2-ADI-AD)遗传模型,其BC1、BC2和F2主基因遗传率分别为75.74%、1.79%、84.26%和61.53%、87.21%、81.05%,多基因遗传率分别为20.32%、74.12%、12.68%和0.68%、0、0,表明番茄红素含量和胡萝卜素含量的主基因遗传力较强。 相似文献

This study sought to investigate the possible inhibition mechanism of red rice polyphenols (RRP) on pancreatic α-amylase (PA) activity. RRP showed strong inhibition against PA activity and the half-inhibitory concentration (IC50) value was 3.61 μg/mL. The fluorescence quenching of PA by RRP was a combination of static quenching and dynamic quenching. RRP could aggregate with PA and the physiochemical properties of the aggregates were closely related to the concentration of RRP. Kinetic analysis suggested that the inhibition mode of RRP on PA was reversible inhibition, which was a mixing of competitive inhibition and noncompetitive inhibition. Molecular docking speculated that RRP could form hydrogen bonds with PA by binding to the catalytic active sites (ASP197, GLU233 and ASP300) and the microenvironments of TRP58 and TRP59 were altered, thus inhibiting PA activity. 相似文献
