Three Pavlova species were evaluated for their nutritional value as diets for growth and survival of the Cortez oyster Crassostrea corteziensis spat during late‐nursery cultivation at a hatchery. Microalgae were provided as monospecific diets (Pavlova salina, P. sp. C50 and P. sp. C53) and in binary combinations of diets 1+2, 1+3 and 2+3 at 80–90 × 103 cells mL?1 for 21 days. Juveniles experienced high survival rates and grew well with all dietary treatments, but binary diets yielded greater survival and growth of spat. From the three binary treatments, Diet 6 (P. sp. C50 and P. sp. C53) promoted significantly (P<0.001) fastest growth of juveniles in shell height (0.19 mm day?1), shell length (0.14 mm day?1), total wet weight (0.04 g day?1) and dry weight of meat biomass (0.024 g day?1). For all shell dimensions, the lowest growth rates occurred with Diets 2 (P. sp. C56 alone) and 3 (P. sp. C50 alone). These results highlight the importance of testing microalgal diets for bivalve spat rather than just relying on published nutritional values.  相似文献

The robustness of Pacific oyster, Crassostrea gigas (Thunberg), sperm cryopreservation in the context of selective breeding based on family lines was investigated. Irrespective of egg density, high fertilization success was achieved with cryopreserved sperm when sperm:egg ratios of 1000:1 to 10 000:1 were used. Variation among replicate runs on the same oyster batches was minimal, indicating that cryopreservation and larval rearing procedures were repeatable. Twenty independent single male–female crosses were made to assess the utility of cryopreserved sperm in selective breeding. The fertility of unfrozen sperm was generally a poor predictor of cryopreserved sperm fertility. Based on D‐larval yields, 17 of the 20 crosses were likely to yield adequate spat for selective breeding (>105 D‐larvae from 1 million eggs), two were marginal (5 × 104 D‐larvae) and one was inadequate (4 × 103 D‐larvae). An alternative fertilization strategy to improve D‐yield from a given number of sperm was then tested. Fertilizing 10 million eggs at a sperm:egg ratio of 200:1 increased the total D‐yield when compared with fertilizing 1 million eggs at a sperm:egg ratio of 2000:1 for the same male–female pair. We conclude that, despite wide variation in fertility, cryopreserved sperm is useful for family production.  相似文献

To understand the influence the environment and associated genotype by environment interactions will exert on future silver-lip pearl oyster (Pinctada maxima) selective breeding programs, this study assessed the relative performance in four shell growth traits of spat from five full-sib families, when spat were communally reared at different salinities (29, 34 and 40 ppt), food availability (high, medium and low), food quality (high, medium and low), and in a hatchery vs. ocean environment for 43 days.Rearing environment was found to influence growth expression, with significant differences evident when oysters were grown at different salinities in the ocean instead of hatchery, or when fed algae of differing nutritional quality. As indicated by MANOVA, family comparative growth performances were also altered when the environment changed, with significant environment by family interactions apparent in the food quality, food availability and hatchery vs. ocean rearing treatments. Changes in salinity, however, did not affect relevant family performances.These results indicate that growth and relative family performance in P. maxima may change dependent on local environmental conditions and that genotype by environment effects may need to be considered in breeding programs for this species.  相似文献

In the pearl cultivation farms of the Ehime Prefecture, Japan, mass mortalities of the pearl oyster Pinctada fucata have occurred since 1994. The occurrences of mass mortality roughly coincided with a shift of the dominant phytoplankton from Skeletonema and Chaetoceros to Chaetoceros and Nitzschia all of which belong to Bacillariophyceae. Hence, we evaluated Nitzschia, together with Chaetoceros and Isocrysis, as food for the oyster. Wet weights, lengths, widths, glycogen contents, and growth rates in terms of wet weight of the oysters in all the feeding treatments were significantly higher than those in the non-feeding treatment. The highest glycogen content (2.34%) and growth rate (2.21 g month−1) were found in the Chaetoceros treatment. Growth rate in the Isocrysis treatment (1.63 g month−1) was also high, although glycogen content in this treatment (0.41%) was low. In the Nitzschia treatment, growth rate of the oyster (0.94 g month−1) was the lowest and glycogen content (0.83%) was also low relative to that in the Chaetoceros treatment. Chlorophyll a concentration in fecal pellets was lowest in the Nitzschia treatment (<2.7 μg mg−1), suggesting more complete digestion of Nitzschia by the oyster. Thus, Nitzschia was edible and digestible but not assimilated by P. fucata. We propose the following scenario for the relationship between Nitzschia dominance and mass mortality. When Nitzschia dominates in a culture area, the physiological condition of P. fucata deteriorates due to low assimilation of Nitzschia by the oyster, followed by susceptibility of the oyster to infection by agents lethal to the oyster.  相似文献

通过对三角帆蚌壳长、壳宽、蚌总重(整体湿重)、内脏团湿重、壳重和珍珠重等指标在5-11月间的逐月连续测定,研究了常规养殖模式下育珠期2龄三角帆蚌在主要生长季节的生长规律及其与珍珠生长的相关性。结果表明:珍珠重(PW)与壳长(SL)、壳宽(SW)的关系分别为PW=0.0008SL3.3946 (R2=0.6948)和PW=0.7809SW1.0227 (R2=0.6888);而珍珠重(PW)与蚌重(TW)、内脏团重(BW)和壳重(W)的关系分别为PW=0.0021TW1.5434 (R2=0.7337),PW=0.107BW0.9125 (R2=0.7158)和PW=0.0324W1.1259 (R2=0.7101);三角帆蚌总重(TW)与壳长(SL)、 壳宽(SW)的关系最适合用指数函数进行拟合,其关系式分别为TW=16.003e0.1681SL,(R2=0.7961),和TW=64.311e0.1372SW (R2=0.6822);而内脏团重(BW)和壳重(W)与壳长(SL)、壳宽(SW)的关系则适合为幂函数曲线拟合,关系式分别为BW=0.0188SL3.1427,(R2=0.6927);W=0.0656SL2.7721, (R2=0.8271)和BW=12.446SW0.8974 (R2=0.617);W=19.876SW0.802 (R2=0.7563)。本研究结果发现,珍珠生长与蚌总重、壳长和壳宽等外部测量指标之间的相关性显著,从而无须通过杀蚌取珠而直接通过这些外部生长指标的测定就能较好地了解珍珠的生长,更好地为珍珠养殖生产和管理提供指导。  相似文献

【目的】研究微波真空冷冻干燥不同功率(100~500 W)对蛋清蛋白粉乳化特性的影响,为生产高品质蛋清蛋白粉提供参考。【方法】通过乳化性、Zeta电位、粒径、浊度以及傅里叶变换红外光谱、内源荧光光谱、扫描电镜、光学显微镜探究微波真空冷冻干燥不同功率对蛋清蛋白粉乳化特性和结构的影响。【结果】乳化性分析表明:随着微波功率的增加,蛋清蛋白粉乳液的乳化性和Zeta电位绝对值先增加后减小,平均粒径和浊度先降低后增加(P<0.05),其中微波功率为300 W时,蛋清蛋白粉乳液的乳化活性指数和乳化稳定性指数均达到最大值,分别为62.35 m2/g和33.53 min;平均粒径最小,为1 203.67 nm,蛋清蛋白粉乳液粒度分布呈现单峰曲线,蛋白质更均匀地分布在乳液中。结构分析表明:随着微波功率的增加,蛋清蛋白粉二级结构中α-螺旋相对含量降低,β-转角相对含量先增加后降低;最大荧光发射强度降低,最大发射波长发生蓝移,蛋清蛋白粉微观结构展开程度先增加后减小,乳液液滴直径先减小后增大;其中微波功率为300 W时,蛋清蛋白粉乳液液滴直径最小且分布最均匀,蛋清蛋白表面展开程度最大,质地最疏松。【结论】微波真空冷冻干燥功率对蛋清蛋白粉乳化特性的影响显著,采用300 W微波功率处理蛋清蛋白,可显著改善其乳化特性。  相似文献

为探讨育珠对壳基质蛋白基因表达的影响,开展了合浦珠母贝(Pinctada fucata)N19和Prismalin-14基因在育珠贝和非育珠贝中的荧光定量表达研究。结果显示,N19和Prismalin-14在育珠贝与非育珠贝的闭壳肌、肝胰脏、性腺、肠、鳃等组织中均无表达,在外套膜均有表达;N19在珍珠囊表达,而Prismalin-14则不表达。N19勺Prismalin.14在育珠贝外套膜的表达量均大于非育珠贝,表明育珠可能对某些壳基质蛋白的表达具有一定的促进作用。其中Prismalin-14在育珠贝外套膜的表达量最高(P〈0.01),是非育珠贝外套膜Prismalin-14的1.23倍,是育珠贝外套膜N19的25.04倍,是非育珠贝外套膜N19的41.04倍,推测在珍珠贝生长过程中,对Prismalil7-14的需求量可能比N19大。N19在育珠贝珍珠囊中表达量最高(P〈0.01),是育珠贝N19外套膜的11.58倍,是非育珠贝外套膜的18.97倍,推测在珍珠形成的过程中,对N19的需求量可能比贝壳自身生长对N19的需求量大。  相似文献

杂色鲍(Haliotis diversicolor)是中国南方主要的鲍养殖种类,近年来“东优1号”杂色鲍因较高的成活率优势已在产业上得到越来越广泛的推广养殖.该研究采用3×3完全双列杂交的方式,对杂色鲍“东优1号”群体、杂色鲍古雷群体和杂色鲍越南群体3个群体自繁与杂交后代的养殖性能进行跟踪,并对其杂种优势进行评估.结果表明,3个群体自繁后代的生长速度和成活率上存在显著差异(P<0.05),同时3个组合的生长速度与成活率的双亲杂种优势率值均不高,且2个单亲杂种优势率值之间有显著差异(P<0.05).  相似文献

以红松松子壳为原料,采用连续热解装置研究了热解反应温度和时间对生物油得率的影响规律,在反应温度为450℃、反应时间为6 min时,生物油得率可达到40.74%,热值可达到22.66 MJ/kg。采用气相色谱质谱联用仪对生物油成分进行了分析,其成分以酚类为主,质量分数约为33.5%;选用HZSM-5及NiO/HZSM-5分子筛催化剂对热解重质油部分分别进行催化改性试验,结果表明:经NiO/HZSM-5分子筛催化剂催化后其中高沸点有机物质量分数降低约13个百分点;其黏度由原来的约3 290 mPa·s大幅度地降低至450 mPa·s,热值则由原来的约26.16 MJ/kg增加到30.33 MJ/kg,增加了16%,同时提高了重质油的燃烧性和稳定性;负载物氧化镍(NiO)的添加提高了HZSM-5催化剂的抗积碳能力。该研究也为后续生物油改性提供了参考。  相似文献
