Addition of clay-rich subsoil to sandy soil results in heterogeneous soil with clay peds(2-mm) or finely ground( 2 mm) clay soil(FG), which may affect the nutrient availability. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of clay soil particle size(FG or peds)and properties on nutrient availability and organic C binding in sandy soil after addition of residues with low(young kikuyu grass,KG) or high(faba bean, FB) C/N ratio. Two clay soils with high and low smectite percentage, clay and exchangeable Fe and Al were added to a sandy soil at a rate of 20%(weight/weight) either as FG or peds. Over 45 d, available N and P as well as microbial biomass N and P concentrations and cumulative respiration were greater in soils with residues of KG than FB. For soils with KG residues,clay addition increased available N and initial microbial biomass C and N concentrations, but decreased cumulative respiration and P availability compared to sandy soil without clay. Differences in measured parameters between clay type and size were inconsistent and varied with time except the increase in total organic C in the 53 μm fraction during the experiment, which was greater for soils with FG than with peds. We concluded that the high exchangeable Fe and Al concentrations in the low-smectite clay soil can compensate a lower clay concentration and proportion of smectite with respect to binding of organic matter and nutrients. 相似文献

石羊河尾闾黏土质夹层结构土壤对降雨入渗的响应 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
为探明该种土壤结构如何影响降雨在土壤中再分配及其影响效果,采用自然降雨背景下的人工试验方法开展了黏土质夹层对降雨入渗影响效果的试验研究。结果表明:(1)降雨后经过相同时间水分再分布后的土壤末期含水率主要受控于降雨初期含水率、降雨入渗所能达到的最高含水率及其黏土夹层厚度;(2)黏土质夹层表层沙土土壤含水率在降雨条件下经过长期水分再分布后表现出黏土层厚度越小,表层含水率越低的特征;黏土层及黏土层下部的沙土层初始含水率越高,在降水初期水分增加量、增加速度以及水分流失量、流失速度与初始含水率具有一定的正相关关系。因此,黏土质夹层结构土壤阻滞水分入渗到植物难以利用到的深层,将水分固持于黏土层及黏土层上下部,在表层覆沙20 cm情景下,10,20,30 cm厚度的黏土质夹层以10 cm处理总体水分保持效果最好。 相似文献

黄土高原典型土壤矿物固定态铵变化的南北差异 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
采集从北向南依次分布的干润砂质新成土(神木)、黄土正常新成土(延安)和土垫旱耕人为土(杨陵)等典型土壤剖面0200.cm土层土样,通过测定土样全氮和矿物固定态铵,以阐明黄土高原典型区域土壤全氮和矿物固定态铵及二者比率随地理位置和土层的变异规律,为全面了解黄土高原土壤相对稳定氮库累积提供科学数据。结果表明,不同地理位置、不同土层全氮和矿物固定态铵含量存在显著差异。从南到北全氮和矿物固定态铵呈下降趋势,但各土壤全氮和矿物固定态铵的分布显著不同,全氮含量在060.cm随土层深度增加下降很明显,60120.cm有一定下降,120.cm以下低而稳定。矿物固定态铵在全剖面上的分布比较均匀,随土层深度的变化差异不显著,不同土层间的差异基本在误差范围内,土垫旱耕人为土、黄土正常新成土和干润砂质新成土表层(010.cm)矿物固定态铵平均含量分别为215.807.45、165.808.73和146.501.83.mg/kg,表层以下(10200.cm)平均含量分别为193.409.67、157.145.75和142.025.47.mg/kg。从地理位置分析,干润砂质新成土、黄土正常新成土和土垫旱耕人为土表层(010.cm)矿物固定态铵占全氮的百分比分别为(39.570.78)%、(32.916.82)%和(29.747.01)%;在表层以下所占比例更高,干润砂质新成土10200.cm土壤矿物固定态铵含量占全氮比例为(89.5213.42)%,黄土正常新成土为(59.5213.86)%,土垫旱耕人为土为(47.269.01)%。供试土壤中矿物固定态铵与0.01.mm物理性粘粒含量存在极显著正相关关系,说明物理性粘粒是矿物固定态铵的主要载体;矿物固定态铵与全氮含量也有极显著正向相关性。以上结果揭示,在黄土高原黄土母质上形成的土壤,全剖面矿物固定态铵相对均匀,而有机氮相差较大,两种氮库的这种地理位置和剖面分布特征,是黄土母质形成的必然结果,也进一步支持了黄土高原黄土母质的风成学说;同时也反映了需要对有机氮占全氮比例及矿物固定态铵在全氮中地位的传统观念予以重新评价。 相似文献

Dispersion is an important issue for clay leaching in soils. In paddy soils of the Red River Delta (RRD), flooding with fresh water and relatively high leaching rates can accelerate dispersion and the translocation of clay. For the clay fraction of the puddled horizon of a typical paddy soil of the RRD, the effect of various cations and anions as well as humic acid (HA) at different pH values on the surface charge (SC) were quantified and the dispersion properties were determined in test tubes and described by the C50 value. In the <2 µm fraction, dominated by illite, the proportion of 2:1 vs. 1:1 clay minerals is 5:1. The organic‐C content of the clay fraction is 2.2%. Surface charge was found to be highly pH‐dependent. At pH 8 values of –32 and at pH 1 of –8 mmolc kg–1 were obtained. Complete dispersion was observed at pH > 4, where SC is > –18 mmolc kg–1. The flocculation efficiency of Ca strongly depends on the pH. At pH 4, the C50 value is 0.33, 0.66 at pH 5, and 0.90 mmol L–1 at pH 6. At pH 6, close to realistic conditions of paddy soils, the effect of divalent cations on the SC and flocculation decreases in the order: Pb > Cu > Cd > FeII > Zn > Ca > MnII > Mg; FeII was found to have a slightly stronger effect on flocculation than Ca. An increase in concentrations of Ca, MnII, and Mg from 0 to 1 mmol L–1 resulted in a change in SC from –25 to approx. –15 mmolc kg–1. In comparison, the divalent heavy‐metal cations Pb, Cu, Cd, and Zn were found to neutralize the SC more effectively. At a Pb concentration of 1 mmol L–1, the SC is –2 mmolc kg–1. From pH 3 to 5, the dispersion of the clay fraction is facilitated rather by SO than by Cl–, which can be explained by the higher affinity of SO to the positively charged sites. With an increase of the amount of HA added, the SC continuously shifts to more negative values, and higher concentrations of cations are needed for flocculation. At pH 3, where flocculation is usually observed, the presence of HA at a concentration of 40 mg L–1 resulted in a dispersion of the clay fraction. While high anion concentrations and the presence of HA counteract flocculation by making the SC more negative, FeII and Ca (C50 at pH 6 = 0.8 and 0.9 mmol L–1, respectively) are the main factors for the flocculation of the clay fraction. For FeII and Ca, the most common cations in soil solution, the C50 values were found to be relatively close together at pH 4, 5, and 6, respectively. Depending on the specific mineralogical composition of the clay fraction, SC is a suitable measure for the determination of dispersion properties and for the development of methods to keep clay particles in the soil in the flocculated state. 相似文献

An 8‐month greenhouse experiment with ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) examined the relationship between the dynamics of potassium (K) reserves in soil and changes in clay minerals, using X‐ray diffraction. The capacity of soil to release K was consistent with its ability to supply it and was the highest in the soil samples collected from Laiyang (H1T2a), Harbin (H1T1) and Beibei (H2T4), followed by the sample from Jiangyan (H1T2b), and the lowest in the samples from Gao'an (H2T3a) and Wangcheng (H2T3b). Removal of soil K decreases the intensity of reflections for illite and increases that for interstratified clay minerals. The centre of gravity values of the clay fractions was significantly negatively correlated to the depletion of soil K reserves, as ascertained through chemical extraction or through plant action. The quantitative regression equations between the centre of gravity values and the dynamics of soil reserves of K can be used for predicting the release and plant availability of K even without growing a crop. 【目的】研究不同介质环境对黏土分散性的影响,探究黏土的分散机理,确定改良黏土分散性的生石灰适宜掺量。【方法】基于非分散性土和分散性土的物理化学特性差异,模拟不同的介质环境,对非分散性黏土和分散性黏土进行碎块试验,研究介质环境对黏土分散性的影响;以不同掺量的生石灰对分散性土进行改性,并通过碎块试验和针孔试验评判改性效果,探求生石灰的适宜掺量。【结果】非分散性土在一定浓度的高Na+碱性环境下表现分散性。在含NaOH环境中,非分散黏土在pH=10.5、Na+浓度为0.3 mmol/L时开始表现分散性;在Na2CO3环境中,非分散黏土在pH=10.13、Na+浓度为0.1 mmol/L时开始表现分散性;在NaHCO3、KOH、KHCO3、K2CO3以及NaCl等中性介质环境中,非分散性黏土不表现分散性。分散性土在中性盐溶液下分散性会减弱,随着盐浓度的增加最终丧失分散性。在NaCl和CaCl2环境中,分散性黏土分散性减弱的临界浓度分别为5和1 mmol/L。生石灰掺量为0~2.0 g/kg时,对分散性黏土改性效果不明显;生石灰掺量≥2.5 g/kg时,对分散性黏土具有显著的改性效果。【结论】适当浓度的Na+在一定的碱性环境中能促进分散,而适当浓度的阳离子(包括Na+在内)在非碱性环境中能抑制分散;生石灰是一种优良的分散性土改性剂。 相似文献

Cation exchange capacity (CEC) is an important soil property that is used as an input data in soil and environmental models. Although CEC can be measured directly, its measurement is expensive and time-consuming, therefore pedotransfer functions can be used for estimating it from more readily available soil data. As CEC is highly dependent on soil texture, it may be successfully estimated from the soil textural data. In this study, 20 soils were selected from Fars province, in the south of Iran, and the values of CEC, soil organic matter content, and soil particle size distribution curve of each soil were measured and the geometric mean particle-size diameter (d g ), and the summation of the number of spherical particles for whole parts of the soil particle-size distribution (N) were determined for each soil. Then, five multiple linear regressions were derived between CEC and mentioned soil properties. The results showed that more applicable equation for the study area was based on the percentages of clay, sand and soil organic matter content. 相似文献

水分运动是土壤中物质和能量传输的主要驱动力,但是水分在土壤中的运动轨迹复杂多变,难以直接捕捉。本研究以第四纪红黏土发育的红壤为研究对象,借助电阻率成像技术(ERT),反演水分在林地和农地土壤中的入渗过程。研究发现,ERT技术能够实现水分在红壤包气带入渗过程的可视化,ERT测定的表观电阻率的变化量与烘干法测定的土壤水分之间呈极显著正相关关系(P<0.01),林地的决定系数为0.72,农地为0.53。土地利用类型影响水分入渗的范围和方式,在2 cm水头高度注水100 L的情况下,林地的入渗深度大于80 cm,而农地约为50 cm,在此基础上,继续注水200 min,林地和农地均出现明显的优先流现象。但是,林地的优先流比农地更为发育,林地是通过根系等大孔隙快速向下传输,而农地则以“指流”的方式,间断性向深层运动。在土壤层次复杂、背景含水量高、土壤黏重等不利因素的影响下,ERT技术依然能捕捉优先流在红壤中发生和发育的过程。 相似文献

Fixed ammonium contents and NH4^ fixation capacities of some representative cultivated solis collected from 16 provinces of China were studied.Results showed that the contents of fixed ammonium in soils ranged from 35 to 573 mg N kg^-1,with an average of 198mg Nkg^-1.The content of fixed ammonium correlated very significantly with mica content for tropical and subtropical soils,whereas this was not the case for soils in the temperate zone.At the end of K-exhausting experiment the fixed ammonium content increased in most soils studied.However,it decreased in smom temperate soils.Generally,fixation of added NH4^ could not be found either before or after K-exhausting experiment for highly weathered soils,including tropical soils and soils derived from granite-gneiss or Quaternary red clays in the subtropic zone,while for most soils in the Yangtze River dalta the NH4^ fixation capacity was rather high and increased significantly in the K-exhausted soils. 相似文献
